I stayed with my daughter for 2 nights. we absolutely loved it, and regret it was only 2 nights. The room was perfect and comfortable with beautiful mountain scenery from both windows. Waking up to these views was a like dream! The infinity open roof top pool was superb! We spent there every moment when we were back in the hotel, even for a few minutes 🥰 staff very friendly and professional. The restaurant and dinners were also wonderful and totally outstanding breakfast! Can't say anything bad about this place. Great location and buses every few minutes. 2 stops away is a small slope which was always nearly empty perfect for skiing learning or sledge. Also ice rink open till late in the evening

Breakfast and dinner was excellent. There was everything you could imagine to eat and drink. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They booked a private ski class for my daughter and gave us all the recommendations we needed. The owner comes to each table morning and evening and check is everything is going well. We were very impressed.

I am an early bird and I would have liked to spend an hour or so in the sauna/ pool in the morning but it only opens at 10 a.m. It was a shame for me as I was up at 7 a.m everyday. I understand however that most people want to relax in the afternoon or evening.

Our room was very clean. Our favorite part of the stay was the sunbathing & pool amenities plus the water and juice fountain. The sauna was an added bonus along with the in bathroom stereo system. The breakfast was fantastic! Recommend having dinner at the on-site, outside restaurant. Check in staff was helpful. Ample on site parking. They added addition of having a standup fan in the room was extremely helpful since there is a governor on the air conditioning unit to not run when it is below a certain temp outside.

Perfect hotel for a relaxing stay in the Austrian Alps! The spa is amazing and we spent each afternoon lazing on one of the comfy sun loungers and taking in the stunning views from the sauna and pool. The location of the hotel was perfect for us, outside of the hustle and bustle of the city but just a short bus journey away. The buses are every 10 mins to Innsbruck/ski slopes and always on time. The staff and restaurant were also spot on - delicious, filling breakfast each morning and great schnitzel/drinks in the evening!

Amazing hotel located 5 minutes drive from the big city of Innsbruck We were warmly welcomed, we were a family of 2 + 2 and we got 2 adjoining rooms The rooms are very clean and tidy, the breakfast is rich and very tasty The hotel has saunas in the basement for those interested (dry and wet) quiet rooms to relax On the top floor of the hotel there is a dry sauna including an amazing infinity pool with heated water In short, an amazing vacation, an amazing and fun hotel We will be back

The spa facilities were exceptional. Connections to the city were very good by bus and tram.

The hotel was amazing, great location, comfortable rooms and lovely restaurant. Easy to get into Innsbruck on the bus, but we enjoyed being in the village with the great views from the hotel room and panoramic spa. A special mention to the lovely Angelica on reception who could not have been more helpful.

The spa area was very busy in the afternoon at the weekend, a few more chairs (including outside) would be good. A system to book a place in the spa, as well as requesting guests not to hold chairs with towels when not using them would also help.

Wonderful staff, excellent breakfast and meals from the kitchen. We thought the location was perfect, a short trip into Innsbruck but nice to be in the area of Lans with fantastic views over the city. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed the pool and sauna. Ample parking too. We were also provided the Innsbruck Welcome Card for staying 3+ nights, which was a nice surprise, gave us free public transport and free access to 4+ cable cars.

The room was a bit too warm, had to keep a window open all night. Not a major issue for us, but may be for some I suppose.

Such a lovely family run hotel. Our room was spacious with a great layout. Close to a a bus stop and very easy to get into Innsbruck. Beautiful lake in walking distance. The rooftop swimming pool and sauna come with a stunning view. Nice breakfast.

Would be even better with more outdoor space and some time restrictions for kids in the swimming pool so adults can properly relax.

We enjoyed our stay at der Walzl. It has comfortable bed/ room. It was easy to get to Innsbruck by bus (20 minutes), we travelled by train to Innsbruck (so no car). There is also a tram service to near the hotel. We enjoyed other activities: swimming in the nearby lake and hiking. We also enjoyed the dinner we had at the hotel and the breakfast buffet was great. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We liked staying out of Innsbruck but some people may prefer to be in town. This is a family oriented hotel but this did not disturb us in any way.
