Very helpful staff. Gave us a good restaurant recommendation (Aegitihof). Got us a taxi when we were in a hurry. Responded helpfully when it appeared that we might be arriving when reception was likely to be closed (though that did not happen). Although we hadn't paid for it, we got an excellent view of the mountains.

We didn't try the breakfast, as we thought it a bit overpriced. But Igls is a short ride from Innsbruck (and with the Innsbruck card given by the hotel it's free), where there are plenty of opportunities. Be careful not to leave a late arrival to chance. Also, note that there is no lift.

Location is amazing, just a few minute walk from bus stop which can take you to Innsbruck center. Innsbruck Welcome Card is also a great plus. Staff is very nice, owner incredibly helpful and there's tons of stuff to do in the Innsbruck area if you're fan of the mountains. Lovely and calm area, also with a small private lake. We'll definitely come back.

Rooms could have had some additional features like iron or fridge, but generally there's not much to complain about.

Our family had a short stay, but very enjoyable. Staff is very friendly and makes you feel at home, which makes you forget that your real home is several thousands miles away. Location is lovely, fairly remote, extremely beautiful and most importantly quiet - ideal for guests such as myself coming from busy and overpopulated cities. Loved the stay at Gruber Hotel - definitely will stay again!

I really can't think of anything. We enjoyed everything that Gruber Hotel had to offer.

Hotel Gruberhof is perfect for a ski trip or weekend away with your family! It really feels like a cozy lodge and was great to go back to after a day in Innsbruck or on the slopes. We ended up extending our stay by multiple days. Management is amazing and friendly, they helped us with everything we needed. The welcome card you get for free with 2+ nights has some awesome deals on it!

The hotel is about 25 mins on the bus from the center of Innsbruck (but very close to Patscherkofel ski resort). There are only a few restaurants around with limited hours and availability. With a small amount of planning, all things that can be worked around!

Fabulous hotel. The staff were very helpful and receptive to any questions raised. The breakfast was yummy and set us up nicely for the day ahead. The digital card was an added bonus to our stay. We shall definitely book in again for next year. It's time to bring the children with us. Thank you.

The extractor fan was noted, but not overbearing.

Very friendly staff. They called us after booking to coordinate the arrival time. Late check-in was possible which was a great plus. Great stopover on our trip from Italy to Germany. Very large room. Perfect for us with little children.

Only minor cosmetic things. The carpeting looks old and could be renewed. Because of the ratings I did expect the facilities to be a bit oldisch. It didn't disturb me. The friendly staff and large room made up for it.

This place is a hidden gem. The place is located perfectly giving a direct view of the snow capped mountains, the morning time was magnificent and the afternoons pleasant. This is a privately managed B&B, which has being managed and maintained well. This place has a character! The rooms are big and furniture is well put together. The place was clean and tidy. There are so many spots in the property to hang out, read a book or walk around. The main hall on the ground floor is decorated with antiques which clearly looks like they were collected personally. The staffed who checked us in was extremely helpful with providing us the details about getting around Innsbruck, there are also maps of the trail options available around the place. He was extremely friendly was fluent in English, can’t remember the last time I came across such an amazing hotel staff with our requests and was very considerate to provide us with a 3-4 hours late check-out for no cost. Had a lovely time chatting with him about the city, our trip and the property. The morning breakfast was fresh and good. This place will shortly get into renovation mode to upgrade some of their facilities apparently. The bus stand is only a 4 mins walk and has a bus every 10-15 minutes to the main town until I guess 11PM therefore making is very easy to commute if you do not have your private vehicle. There are also taxi drivers available on call. At the reception you can find the detail of the local restaurants and all the events happening around. They have updated information about every event. Although located a little in the woods, it was super secure and safe. In all its a heritage property, which is a perfect location for a relaxing within and is super economical!!

There isn’t anything really that we didn’t like, probably we would have preferred to have the restaurant running for lunch and dinner, even with limited options so that you don’t need to step out of the property at all and enjoy it.

The staaf were extremely friendly and explained all to us very well. We were happy for the electric car charging spot. There is only one though. The location is great for a stopover on the way to Italy in the summer

Other guests smoke on the balcony. And they smoke a lot. On a hot summer’s eve you don’t want the stink in your room if you have the windows open to cool down the room

We were super happy with our choice of accommodation as it offered breathtaking mountain views every morning. The staff was exceptional, with the owner being very hospitable and easy-going. Vincent at the front desk always greeted us with a smile and went the extra mile to assist with carrying our luggage to our room (bonus points!). Javier from the kitchen staff was also very attentive and friendly, ensuring all guests were taken care of. The location was ideal for us, as it was only a 10-minute bus ride to the Patscherkofel ski resort and a convenient 20-25 minute bus ride to the city center. Additionally, they are planning to update the property and will soon be providing more modern amenities. We look forward to visiting again in the future. As a side note, it would be great if they could also provide more vegan options for breakfast.

Good value, good location in Igls super close to Innsbruck. Allowed for you to be outside of the mix of the city but close enough you weren't driving hours for things a city provides.

Rooms could be cleaned daily as opposed to every other day.
