Newish hotel having been bought by the current owners and massively modernised and rebuilt in 2018, so feels very new still. Good sized room. We had a balcony and a valley view, which is more expensive, but worth it. Hotel staff are very courteous. Bathrooms are super luxurious with rainwater shower head, the biggest I have seen. In house restaurant provides a wide range of fare at all normal hours. Very convenient tram stop less than 100m away.

Sliding glass wall door between bedroom and bathroom does not allow for any real privacy (e.g. when sitting on the loo!). More frosted glass would be appreciated!

A beautiful and spacious room, designed in a mountain style. The terrace is large and dual-oriented, offering a magnificent view of the mountains. From our terrace, we could see both the sunrise and the sunset. Absolute peace, without any noise. The location is excellent – situated between two picturesque villages, with a bus stop right in front of the hotel. The hotel provided us with a Welcome Card – free public transportation. Within walking distance is the Muttereralm cable car. The breakfast was outstanding. A very wide selection, everything was fresh and delicious. Dinner à la carte, like in the finest restaurants, with portions unusually large for such exquisite food. The wellness area was excellent, never crowded. Most of the time, we were alone there even though the hotel was fully booked. Top-notch cleanliness and exceptionally friendly staff, both at the reception and in the restaurant.

Lovely big room with a balcony and beautiful views. No AC, but the window opened wide. The bathroom fittings were very high quality! Our evening meal was fabulous, sitting outside - a lot of Asian food available. Breakfast was one of the best we've had with hot food and a wonderful selection of fruit, including cherries and nectarines. Parking was straightforward. There is a tramstop 3 minutes walk from the hotel that takes you into Innsbruck.

No kettle or coffee machine in the room, although it wasn't a problem to nip to the breakfast area and make tea to take back to the room. Apparently, it can be noisy when the hotel hosts weddings, etc. However, the worst noise we endured was from a very loud, talkative, and excitable large group of walkers who stayed up late and went out at 6am! As mentioned by a previous reviewer, the bathroom has a glass wall and door with the torso area misted with images of the mountains. From the outside, others can see your lower legs and feet and your head. Not good if you're modest.

The room was spectacular very spacious considering it was 6 of us, the lift lead to the room directly which was a pleasant surprise, Very clean Soft towels Loved the underfloor heating Loved the views Loved the spa Breakfast was varied to suit anyone Staff were very welcoming and helpful when required. The room despite having a dinning table, there was no crockery, no cutlery, only a few glasses. When you travel with children sometimes you have to prepare things, the lack of utensils made it challenging.

Great location, <5 minute walk to the tram which gets you in the Innsbruk in 20/25 minutes. Also a great location to travel the other direction up into the mountains for some hikes and seeing the surrounding area. Breakfast was great, rooms were large with a large bathroom. Mutters is a very small, picturesque quaint town/area. We found one restaurant (Saint Lucia) for pizza/pasta which we would recommend. You would need to book if not going early! The local bakery was also fab and surprising for the size of the town! Bäckerei Töpfer! Lovely for coffee or lunch. The welcome card included with the stay also was of great use! Given we stayed 3 nights we got 4 free cable car rides. We used one of them to go up Muttereralam which had a traditional Austrian restaurant at the top which is worth a visit in itself.

Temperatures were 10 degrees higher than average for this time of year and note there is no air conditioning. We were aware of this prior to booking and did not see it as a problem. Room cooled down with window being open in the evening.

Our room towards the street was clean and spacey, although with open window quite noisy. The bathroom is well equipped (except body milk and conditioner). The cosmetic mirror with 6x enlargement is a wonderful addition. Further that we received free transportation card for the public transport within Innsbruck (by tram ~45 min). The receptionists were very friendly and always helpful. The wellness services (minus massages) are free of charge. The breakfast buffet offers a huge variety of food and daily fresh fruits. The restaurant can be recommended, the menu stays the same every night.

During hot weather, the room in the evening was too warm to sleep, as there aren‘t any air conditionings or temperature controls. Sleeping with open window(s) not recommended, too noisy. Body milk as well as daily fresh water bottles would’ve been a plus. It was a pity, that the mirror light in the bathroom could only be turned on with the ceiling light. The sliding door to the bathroom is only covered with a Motiv of the alps, for my liking too less privacy during toilet or shower. Shadows could easily be detected, less transparency would be highly appreciated.

The hotel had nice and attentive staff, making our stay pleasant and comfortable. Its location is excellent, with close proximity to the tram/train station, making it convenient for exploring the city. The forest ambiance creates a peaceful and rejuvenating experience, making it an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The restaurant food and drinks were also amazing. The hotel owner sent her son to drive and drop us to the central train station when we couldn't catch a taxi. Kudos for the extra mile service and lovely accommodation.

The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The beds were super comfortable and we got a good night sleep. It's a quiet place. Make sure to ask for free pass to public transportations. So you can take the tramway to Innsbruck. The breakfast was excellent. And the restaurant has raisonnable prices. It's like a retreat.

The front desk was not very patient with non German speaking customers ( we are french). He got impatient. The bathroom has a great design but the sink overflows easily because of the design.

Excellent hotel! Nothing less than that! A very beautiful, well-designed room, full of light and a stunning view. Very comfortable beds, excellent breakfast! Excellent location for hiking in Tyrol (that's what we did for four days), 10 minutes by car from the center of Innsbruck, you get a "Welcome to Innsbruck" card which allows unlimited use of public transportation and a one-time ride on four cable cars. Free indoor parking. A bus is at the door of the hotel and a regional train is a 3-minute walk away

what can i say, this is an quite exceptional triumph of a hotel. They've managed to create a super friendly vibe and mixed this with facilities of high character and stylish design. The spa is fab, well managed, and the breakfast is sumptuous. The sound proofing is excellent too..

My only gripes were that the room was small, and the cheap pillows a but out of place given the expense of a mechanical back-out shutter system. Still, i slept super well.
