Stay here every year for 1 night on the way home on a road trip. Ask for room 501 if you can (please not the 2nd Friday in August as that is when we are travelling). Comfy beds, Aircon, top floor with just 2 rooms so nice and quiet. Good shower and a separate toilet. Just outside there is a Texmex restaurant (not sure if there in winter) and the food is excellent Asked in advance for gluten free bread for my wife for breakfast and no problem. Not sure where cars park or the charges as we were on motorbike so parked on the square for free.

Breakfast is always a bit of a bun fight as it's a small room trying to feed a full hotel so you may have to wait.

We had a wonderful experience at this lovely hotel, which combines its rich historical charm with stylish modern touches. We were grateful to receive an upgrade and truly enjoyed our beautiful, charming, and spacious room, with a great view of the city center. The staff were exceptionally kind, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed. The hotel is centrally located, making it easy to explore the city. We also really enjoyed the breakfast. We also appreciated having access to a parking garage at a discounted rate.

Everything! The hotel is beautiful, very tastefully furnished and couldn't be more central. All very clean and tidy and although modern, enough Austrian charm to make it special. Breakfast was delicious with everything you could wish for from various healthy breads or mueslis to fresh fruit, meats and cheeses, etc. etc. Very special were fresh spreads and even rice puddings and custards all in little individual jars. Perfect coffee and tea and various fresh juices. Our stay was unfortunately too short to be able to make use of the wellness area but it looked extremely special. We had a wonderful short break in beautiful Steyr.

Beautiful old building that is totally modernised inside. Rooms are very comfortable and have black out blinds and curtains as well as Aircon. A great night's sleep. Building has a lift so no issue with bags. The hotel is right on the square with cafes and outdoor dining (100% recommended the TexMex restaurant that is outside the front of the hotel. Great food and huge portions). Parking for motorbikes is free and is just out the front of the hotel

Get down early for breakfast. Selection is very good but it gets very crowded and you can end up waiting on a table

Armin was excellent at check-in and provided some fantastic information on the town and parking etc. Good sized and comfortable room with views over the rooftops. It was a quiet room and an excellent bathroom with separate toilet. Heating and air conditioning worked well. Good work space and a mini bar with reasonable prices. Breakfast was passable with wonderful staff. Some excellent restaurants very close by. This hotel is in an excellent location in the main market square and the parking is relatively inexpensive and very easy to access across the river but only about a 3 minute walk away. You can drop your luggage right at the hotel door then go and park the car. You are provided with an easy access card for multi entry and exits for 24 hour parking access.

The WiFi became unreliable and kept dropping out. It took us nearly all day to do an hours work. There were a few maintenance issues such as one of the blinds, the loo paper roll and the QR code missing. There are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. The breakfast buffet lacked some variety and some children were unsupervised and managed to handle just about every bread roll before taking one. Overall however we would definitely stay here again (probably not in school holidays).

Beautiful location with recently renovated, clean and spacious rooms. Stunning breakfast room and lounge. Baby loved the complimentary babybed. Warm and professional service appreciated, and good value for the room. The private spa area has ambience and it's very clean. Breakfast outstanding as well. Steyr is well worth a visit and this is a good place to stay.

I chose this hotel for the spa facility and was surprised to find that there was a per-person extra fee (I see now, it's in the fine print). That's fine and we did enjoy it, but the price - almost half the cost of our room for two hours of a private sauna+dampfbad - seems quite high. The booking.com listing should be more clear about the extra fee, at least. The bed has a very soft plush top that didn't really work for us, but that's just personal preference.

We likes this hotel a lot, most noticeable the friendly staff, the great breakfast and the location. If you like to grab a drink after you arrive here its right in front of the hotel. And although our room was at the same side there was no noise. Upon arrival we were upgraded to the suite which was a very special gift. Honestly this room is the biggest I have ever been in in a hotel.

The only thing I can think of is the parking. We could park within 2 minutes walking from the hotel, but I can image there is not always space on the public parkings. This is of course a common downside from having such a central location.

- Gorgeous, modern room - Big comfy bed, huge shower - Great location in heart of Steyr - Friendly, helpful staff- got us extra pillows on request (needed due to being pregnant!) - Try Olympia over the road for food- looks basic but food was so good!

- Parking off site and 10 Euros but only 3 mins walk away- best you’ll get if you want to stay in middle of Steyr. We paid 70c to park outside for 30 min to drop luggage off then collected parking ticket and directions from reception. On check out we just took our luggage to car park as only short walk across river.

Liked the staff and management as they went out of their way in order to accommodate my needs during Ramadan. As we could only have our first meal of the day before sunrise (05:01) and breakfast was not served until 06:00, the manager went out her way to ensure provisions was made and all the ingredients for breakfast was delivered to our rooms the night before. This meant we could have breakfast, whist sticking to our fast.

during my many visit to this hotel, I am yet to come across a feature of the facility that I am not happy with.

Very nice accomodation in the jewel box city. Right int the city center, but very silent during the night. We arrived late on Sunday, but the key was prepared for us. (we received a very detailed e-mail before arrival with detailed instructions how to occupy the room.) Very delicious breakfast.

There was nothing we did not like. ;)
