- The staff. They are truly remarkable. All. Of. Them. - The restaurant - we had the buffet style breakfast there every morning, and dined 5 nights out of 7 there as well and were always overly happy with our choices of menu. Zero chance of disappointment if you dine at Crusoe's. - The proximity to the capital (Nassau), and to the Atlantis resort (5 minutes walk if you don't get distracted by finding everything beautiful) is also a major +. Transportation is easily arranged at the front desk for further destinations or by walking to the ferry. - Beds are comfortable and there was not much noise that could get through my earplugs at night. I, being the most physically sensitive, slept on the sofa bed for the whole week without a single consequence on my body! - We also appreciated the daily complementary water bottles and the lemon water fountain in the lobby after our 20k daily steps of exploration.

I have absolutely zero complaints about this establishment. However, I'd love it if we could get to evaluate other tenants / clients. I'd have some serious notes to give to those who feed the birds over the restaurant tables, pluck the gorgeous flowers and or complain about little mundane things like a crack in the plaster or a grain of sand in the bathroom (insert major eye roll here).

Great location next to the Atlantis. Bed was extremely comfortable. Handy to have a washing line over the bathtub to dry beach clothes! Staff were lovely, especially the wonderful Reginald on front desk who was just so welcoming and friendly!!

Good that breakfast was free, but it was very average at best

The breakfast was incredible. It is a full breakfast with a lot of options. There was bacon, sausage, eggs (scrambled and boiled), Belgium waffles, cereal, bread for toast, muffins, danish... there is a lot of options. The room was spacious with a king size bed, couch, and work area, which I used. The bed was so so comfortable. The options for pillows (firm & soft) is a great touch. The location is INCREDIBLE. My friends paid over $5,000 to stay at Paradise Island, which I refused to pay that amount of money. Their rooms were beautiful, new and their views were incredible. But, I had access to everything they did for 1/4 of the price. I mean everything (shuttles, movie theatre, water park, aquarium, pool and beach). If the weather is beautiful, you're not staying in the room. The weather on the first day was not so great, guess what, I went to the movies. The movie is free and the concession stand is reasonable. You're in your room to sleep and the Comfort Suite's beds are so so comfortable.

The rooms are pretty old (flooring, tubs, walls, couch, TVs). My TV was snowy, but I didn't watch a lot of TV. I enjoyed sitting by the pool at Paradise Island and the beach, as well as the luxury of reading a book. I am so busy at home, I rarely have time to finish a book.

The staff were lovely and the location, close to the Atlantis, was great. If you are planning on spending most of your time outside of the rooms, then it is worth the money.

The rooms need to be updated. There is a damp smell and I was not a fan of the bathroom or the air conditioning, it was very noisy.

The accommodations were okay; It had the basics, nothing spectacular or outlandish.

I was told that my bill would be $324 but at the desk upon checking in, it was suddenly changed to $570. Such hidden fees are robbery. I prefer straight up honesty.

The details were excellent in the room - I loved the lighting at the mirrors for make up, although I was alone it would be perfect if you came with a few people as there were ample mirrows and plug points in convenient places to get ready. Plenty of hanging space and hooks for towels etc to dry. Thde hair dryer was really good for something so small and I have very thick hair whoch usually takes ages to dry. The location was PERFECT - Could not be more convenient and being able to access Atlantis was the best perk!! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and always very cheerful, even while working on Mothers Day. I would highly recommend to others and stay again myself if I come there. Thank you to every single staff member no matter what your role is because each of you play a part in bringing the whole stay together.

Location, breakfast, cleaning

Some members of the staff are not as welcoming as others.Vanessa at the reception clearly did not deliver same level of customer service as other staff members. The fees could be more shown/clear/open to guest at the time of the reservation beacuse they are a lot, almost double the price in the app (booking) and may not seem very clear.

I honestly don't understand the negative reviews of this hotel. After reading them I was expecting the very worst but that was NOT the case. The hotel is perfect for what you pay. Price is considerably lower than nearby properties and includes a good breakfast and daily Atlantis access. That makes ALL the difference alone, but the property is not bad at all. Yes, it's not a new property but it is well preserved. My room was spacious and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Wifi worked fine. Fridge, coffee maker and 2 bottles of water (replaced daily). The AC does make a loud noise, but I took earplugs after reading the reviews and I could sleep just fine. Nothing smelled bad to me at any point as other guests have claimed.

Breakfast is ok but 10am is too early if you are on vacation. At least on Sat-Sun they should change the time until 11am.

The hotel is located on the Paradise Island, the nicest area of Nassau. The Atlantis resort is just few steps away and you have full access at its facilities included. The beds are confortable. Reginald from front desk is very nice and helpful, congratulation to him! The breakfast is ok. The hotel has free parking for guests.

The hotel rooms are quite dated, the sheets have a funny smell, don't seem to be properly cleaned. The same with the towels, we have also received stained and dirty towels. But they change sheets and towels daily, so if you are lucky you could receive clean towels and bed sheets once :-)
