The hotel had spacious rooms with comfortable beds. There was a nice shower and because the kitchen was closed when we were there, we were given a lift to the sister hotel to eat. The breakfast was delicious with everything fresh esp the pastries and different breads. We were able to keep our cycles safely locked up in the garage overnight.

Our room was right next to the lift which was very noisy and used until late. Our room overlooked the front of the hotel where the drive and car park had noisy gravel and people were talking loudly below our window until the early hours. There was no shower door or curtain so the floor got quickly soaked.

The location was perfect for us for visiting Plopsland theme park. The view from our room and the building itself is beautiful, staff extremely helpful and friendly. Size of the room was great.

Could do with a few more amenities in the room like a microwave, kettle and mirror. However there was a fridge and fan.

The hotel was absolutely fantastic. The room was huge and easily and comfortably fit in our little family of 5. The boys loved the views and everything about the area. The staff were outstanding and we loved our visit. Although there is not a restaurant on site, we loved that they picked us up and took us to their sister hotel 10min away for dinner. The portions were HUGE and honestly, my husband would have been fine eating a kids 'half portion'.... and the waffles... OMG they were INSANELY good!

The only thing that let the place down a little was that the shower was a bit 'mouldy'. It was clean but the sealant around the edges had blackened a bit and needed replacing.

Lovely exterior in a great location, with a nice restaurant (that was only open for breakfast - dinner was at a sister hotel that they would bus you to). Bathroom was decent in the room

The room was very basic. But it did the job. The restaurant wasn’t open for evening food and the staff couldn’t be found when it was time to check out and pay

A luxurious property in the middle of nowhere, huge well stocked bar, comfy bed, spacious room with fantastic view over the fields, especially at dawn, lots of towels and shampoo/shower gel as well as large bath in the bathroom, excellent water pressure, a very friendly receptionist/waitress, a huge parking space, t'Voshol restaurant in neighbouring Leisele, quiet and peaceful fields all around

bath needs a shower curtain, can be difficult to contain the water spray, the toilet desk is broken and moves under you when you sit on it, no curtains on the window, mosquito net on the window has huge gaps and needs fixing

Amazing building, check in was thorough and helpful, the restaurant was closed so they drove us to their other hotel and combined the bill. Great bar and patio area. Lift to the rooms and spacious rooms with nice views.

The rooms were quite simple with no mirror apart from in the bathroom, the shower had very low pressure.

I was happily surprised that the hotel was able to adjust check-in time. The owner/manager welcomed us in the morning during breakfast and mentioned that he would prepare a coffee for us. There was a vast selection of pastry, fresh fruits, and spreads.

I think it was alright for one night. I wouldn't improve anything, to be honest. We stayed just to sleep and have breakfast there. I would maybe say to guests who are staying in the hotel to go to the reception if something goes wrong. ie. We have arrive after 10 pm - after entering the room some guest came to us only in the pants saying that we are making too much noise.

Clean and modern rooms in a beautiful setting, friendly and helpful staff/owner and delicious breakfast. They also accommodated an earlier breakfast time on our departure day with no trouble at all.

We had a fantastic stay but there were a few minor things we would change, particularly with very young children, including having a bath mat available, use of a cot and darker blinds in the room

The breakfast was excellent. The property location was great with easy access to the motorway to Calais. Thomas was a fantastic host and organised the transport to the parent hotel for dinner.

coffee/tea making facilities in the room.
