Funky rooms in central Bastogne. Clean and comfortable with modern, stylish decor and bathroom. Looks newly decorated and fitted out. Free car park at rear.

Saw no staff apart from a 2 minute check in. The hotel seemed to prefer to communicate via automated chats on the booking.com site. I’d sent a question about car park but received no reply. I did receive several automated messages but the personal touch was lacking here. There is parking at rear of hotel (free). We were not told that the restaurant and bistro were both closed due to refurbishment. We’d been sent the menus by the automated chat but prices were very high, even for a tourist town like Bastogne. They charge 20 euros pp for breakfast which is far too expensive, so we chose to have breakfast elsewhere for a lot less.

My husband and I enjoyed our brief visit to Bastogne. Our accommodations at Hotel Leo Station, Annex was exactly what we hoped it would be. It was conveniently located on Place McAuliffe where the Info office is located. We had just enough time to visit the 101st Airborne Museum and enjoyed a wonderful early dinner at the Leo Wagon Restaurant. We appreciated the convenient free parking behind the hotel and the coded access to the hotel from there. We hope to visit Bastogne again someday and we will certainly consider staying at Hotel Leo, again. I think it is wise to include a bit of information about our room in the Annex. As is common in Belgium, the stairs to our room were steep and narrow. There is not an elevator from which we could accessed our room. The annex stairway is not for the feeble or those with excessive luggage. If a guest has physical limitations regarding stairs, he/she should request a room in the hotel not the annex. The electric, room-darkening, rolling shutter on the large window overlooking the square was perfect. Also, the street noise was considerably reduced with the shutter down.

Room was huge and very clean, bathroom was also massive. Breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful. Great location for the town square bars and restaurants.

Air con didn't work in our room and the temperature during the day had been 36 degrees. Because electricity worked when you put a key card in and we only had one card, we didn't know about the air con until we got in after 10.30pm so it was too late to get anyone to sort it out.

Rooms were huge, beds were very comfortable, bathrooms were large as well. Staff were knowledgeable and very friendly. Food is incredible - highly recommend the breakfast buffet. We have stayed in the main hotel and the Annexes and I loved both - but think the Annexes were such a good value, I prefer to walk up a few flights of stairs vs. pay extra for the elevator.

Nothing - every stay at Leo Station has been a 10/10!

The breakfast is really great with plenty of choice, both hot and cold dishes and meat. Formally it opens at 7.30 only which we found late, but we went early 7.15 and everything was ready. The room was very nice, with parquet (much cleaner than carpet). Bathroom was spacious.

We had a reservation made upfront by telephone at the restaurant, which they seemed to have lost. But they could give us a table anyhow and dinner was very good. Some of the restaurant waiters were a bit less welcoming. Access to the hotel by car was time consuming: lot's of traffic in the main road. The trash bin in the bathroom had not been emptied after the previous guests.

Staff at reception were very friendly (the Polish lady who's name I forget.) The room was nice and big as was the bathroom. The breakfast was good with lots of different things available and located in a nice space.

The beds were terribly uncomfortable. They were old and rickety. The matrass topper was not fitted well and kept sliding off the bed. There was no coffee / tea facilities in the room which is disappointing.

The location, the rooms, the staff, the restaurant and brasserie….everything. One of the best hotels ive ever stayed in to be honest. Maybe im a bit biased as someone interested in Railways plus the excitement of visiting Bastogne with my son but the hotel couldnt have been any better. Just the look of it on the street as you approach it gives you a sense of how good it is. We dined in both the Brasserie and the Restaurant during our stay and both are highly recommended. Superb.

My number 1 criterion is location. If luxury is important, this hotel may not be able to accommodate your needs. The top floor/loft room accommodates 3 people (one queen and one single) The location was perfect for "walking" into the heart of Bastogne. Parking is available and is located behind the hotel. Shopping, restaurants, historic sites, and museums are within a few minutes of the hotel. The hotel's restaurant has a great menu. It is popular with the locals and visitors. The breakfast buffet serves as a fine example of what is delicious about French food. I did not partake in lunch or dinner.

Fortunately, the weather during my September visit was ideal so the room was comfortable at night. They placed me in a loft room which required a journey of three floors up a very steep staircase. Recommend a lower floor room for those not having the capability to handle the stairs. Meals including breakfast, are not included in the price of the room.

I love its coziness, the fact that parking is free (behind the hotel), the beds, great walk-in shower, and the lovely rooms, and that it’s part of Bastogne square, the center of town.

Small things: no USB-A ports in the rooms and the shower floor is SUPER slippery. I had to be very careful and wished for some sort of anti-slip mat.

Hotel was lovely. Rooms spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very good. A great selection to choose from. The restaurant food was top notch. Would definitely recommend staying here and I would stay again.
