It was a beautiful old building. It was just in the right place for our stay. The restaurant was lovely, so was the menu but a little on the expensive side for us although we did use the restaurant twice while we were there and the food was excellent. Other restaurants were within walking distance. Parking was on site which we needed. The local Chateaux was well worth the visit.

Room 8, our room we found very dark, it had only one small window. The shower room was nice but a little small and had a window onto the back road, at road level which they had a stick on window cover on.

Good breakfast, everything was replenished quickly. Nice pool, with reservation system but barely used. After asking at reception I could usually privately swim within 30 minutes. Otherwise they also have shared hours in the morning and end of afternoon. Single room had a big enough bed and great bathroom. Pretty close to public transport too, which is all free in Luxembourg.

Hotel consists of 2 buildings, the orange building has the swimming pool on the ground floor, so it does smell like chlorine there in the hallway.

Just spent a fabulous two days at Aux Tanneries and honestly wished I could’ve had a few more. The staff were all excellent and so accommodating. Anything you needed, they either could provide or let you know where to get it. Dinner in the restaurant was lovely and the breakfast was well-stocked (with the ability to have freshly cooked omelettes or eggs and bacon). The pool and spa area was lovely and I enjoyed having the space to myself. I love spending the evenings on the terrace having a glass of wine and chatting with other patrons. The rooms were a bit warm on what was the hottest day of the summer so far, but otherwise I really have no complaints at all. Short walk from the station, the staff I interacted with all spoke excellent English (and accommodated my poor French), the car park seems large. Definitely worth a stay!

I loved the location, the bedroom decoration, the comfortable bed, the view of the trees, the great food at the restaurant, the very good breakfast, the beautiful terrace, the very nice swimming pool and sauna, the sympathy and professionalism of the staff.

The room was too hot and it had no shades. The closet had only 2 hangers and no place to hang them. They offered the option of half a dessert and charged almost a full dessert.

We stayed in the junior suite and felt the size of the rooms and space was great with kids. Nice modern bathroom with walk in shower. The breakfast was nice and decent variety. Staff very good and attentive.

Nice that a private swimming session is offered although the swimming pool is in a separate building so had to walk across with all our swim gear in the rain. With kids not ideal. Otherwise was a very pleasant stay and we would return.

Junior suite was spacious and very comfortable for a family of 4. We loved the pool and sauna facilities! Staff were really welcoming, helpful & friendly!

The bathroom with jacuzzi & shower was luxurious but sadly it had no door which meant we had no privacy. We couldn't use the jacuzzi for this reason. We had our 2 boys of 10 & 13 years old with us which made it difficult to use with our boys in the room.

Lovely hotel next to the river (where you would expect a tannery to be!) at the bottom of the town. Too far to walk to the centre but luckily the hotel restaurant was excellent! So was the breakfast and the room was spacious and comfortable (though there was no view).

The pool was very nice but only open for a couple of hours. The spa was lovely too but it was only available by booking and collecting the key from reception which was just silly. Why not keep it open for all the guests to use without booking?

The hotel is in a really nice place. A lot of walking tours in the region. The staff of the hotel were really nice and accomodating. The pool and sauna were great. The restaurant has a nice interior and the food was good. I would definitely recommend going here.

The hotel room is a bit old, not everything holds together. But the beds and shower were very nice.

Large Room, comfy bed. Small shower cubicle, but plenty hot water and shower gel etc. Enough wardrobe/drawer space in the more rustic style (door had a key-key!). Had a safe and a small fridge. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was OK enough, continental only, but lots of choice and fresh fruit. Location was good, there are bars/restaurants near by and there was plenty of parking. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was good, although horrified that the €28 bottle of red was only 500ml and the bottled water was €6.80.

I had a wonderful room at the top of the building, it was quirky, spacious and clean with comfy beds. Free motorcycle parking which was brilliant and a short walk up the hill to the castle.

My only slight criticism would be the shower curtain as it was hard to keep water from escaping out the shower. But this was a little thing
