We had a fine stay right in Bastogne, perfectly situated near numerous historical sites. The staff were incredibly receptive and attended to all our needs with a warm and friendly attitude. Our room was cozy and comfortable for the two of us, ensuring a restful night. Convenient parking right out front made coming and going a breeze. The breakfast in the morning was delightful, with a great variety of options to choose from. Overall, our experience was excellent and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

I have never stayed in a hotel over a gas station. However, it was a great stay! Comfortable beds, friendly staff, easy parking, super convenient walk into the city centre and also convenient to have a nicely stocked gas station with lots of food and drink options just below you. Great breakfast too!

The only comment I have for possible improvement is the floor in our bedroom area did not seem extremely clean. It could just be the finish of the flooring but there were noticeable scuffs, stains etc. I was not bothered enough by the floor to make a comment during our stay.

This is my third stay at Le Merceney Motel which should tell you all you need to know. Dont be put off by the outside view as the rooms are exceptional and air conditioned. The bathroom is large with a very big shower area and the beds are very comfortable. Below is a small reataurant area if you require breakfast and a large shop with a good selection of items at very reasonable prices. Location is perfect to explore the historic town of Bastogne with many bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. Also known for its heroic Americn army defence against the Germans in 1944/45 there are many places to visit in and around Bastogne in memory of this and those involved. The American 101st Airborne Museum is a 10 minute walk from here and is a must see destination. The basement simulation of the Christmas eve 1944 Luftwaffe bombing of Bastogne is magnificent and a stark reminder of this towns past.

Room was nice and comfy. There is a gasstation underneath the hotel but this did not provide any nuisance. Rooms are giving out to rear side. Friendly staff.

Standard giving a second key could be helpfull. Especially as you need the key to get back into the building and the electricity of the room is linked to the key. The hotel is not suited for people with reduced mobility given there is no elevator (at least none I found).

The motel was great, room was modern and spacious with a fridge and coffee making facilities. Was a little dubious about the motel being part of petrol station, however this was not problem. There was ample parking and the petrol station included a well stocked convenance store and cafe. Great location a couple of minutes from the main square with ample bars and restaurants. Check-in and check-out was easy with friendly and help staff who spoke English.

Very pleased with the value for the money. Initially concerned that the motel was co-located with a service station and cafe, but not an issue. Modern. spacious, comfortable rooms located on the back of the building so it was quiet. Parking was secure. Good breakfast. Proprietor & staff went out of her way to accommodate you. Eating options immediately downstairs, next door or a short walk/drive to the main square.

Only the need to carry my bags up a flight of stairs - minor. Overcame my initial apprehension about the location and parking security due to the busy in/out as it proved unfounded.

The room was large and clean and had air conditioning. Excellent bathroom facilities I would be happy to stay there again.

The motel is situated over a gas station, so it can be noisy, although we never heard any noise in the room. It’s also crowded outside and difficult to find parking although we did find parking across the street and also doesn’t have any amenities that many people are used to for a motel.

Perfect location, comfortable room, the staff were fantastic, the lady taking care of breakfast was very attentive and helpful, 10 euro breakfast was great and included nice coffee. The room was a good size with everything we needed including a Nespresso machine. Easy onsite parking. This is the second time we have stayed here (first time was 11 years ago) and we would come back again - the quality of our stay was the same. Highly recommended.

The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly, the room was very clean and well decorated. As much as I hate to admit it, there were some English Programmes on the tv. This hotel was a really great and unexpected find

A point of amusement that the bathroom was visible from the room, through purposeful gaps in the pattern on the glass. It didn’t cause any major issues and you didn’t feel quite so exposed as it first felt

Le Merceny Motel was a very happy surprise! The room, the smallest of all, was roomy and comfortable. The bathroom was large. There were two large windows that could be opened for fresh air all night. Breakfast included an extensive selection of fresh and well presented items. The hostess was absolutely charming! She was so friendly and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Bastogne.
