The location and setting is amazing. What a delightful place to stay. The evening meal was amazing and breakfast good too. Catherine on reception was such a lovely lady and the main guy for the evening meal and all the staff to be honest were just really nice and welcoming. They made our stay. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was 5 stars. Highly recommend.

If anything the property especially our room wasn’t worth very very hot and even though there was very little noise from the terrace below ( were people ate and dined outside) we didn’t get much air circulation and so it was always very hot… we had our little dog with us and so this wasn’t ideal luckily I had brought his cool gel Matt and a fan… not sure if other rooms would have been cooler but just a note to make if your travelling with pets

The location is definitely top! Quiet surroundings, away from the road, and the scenic view. The breakfast is good, but dinner was somewhat not matching the price to quality relation. The staff is kind and helpful. It's definitely a great place to stay with your pet, as there are lots of other guests coming with their pets as well.

They have chargers on premises but very expensive: 0.77€ per kWh as on June 2025.

Huge room, if a bit dated looking, overlooking the lovely little secluded valley with a lovely river and a castle perched on top of the hill. The bed was large and comfortable. Breakfast had a lot of options to choose from . Parking spaces were plenty. Had dinner once in the hotel, at first the steak was very much overcooked, so we sent that back, the second one was better but not medium rare either. Too bad because the quality of meat was good and side dishes and starters were nice.

The tiles in the bathroom are extremely slippery. We were a young couple with no worries about balance in general, but both of us had trouble when the bathroom got even a little bit damp from a shower. I cant imagine how some of the more elderly guests (and there were a lot of them when we were there) navigate them. However, the receptionist told us that the rooms are being refurbished so probably the tiles are probably the first thing to go.

It’s not that we didn’t like it — the bathroom is spacious and new, which we appreciated, but it felt unfinished. Some reused elements weren’t placed properly — no holders for the hairdryer, shower gel, toilet paper, or towels. Small touches, but they do matter.

The room was very spacious with a large and oh so comfortable bed. We slept like babies😊Everything was super clean and well maintained. The staff very friendly and helpful, we arrived past the check-in time, and they had someone waiting for us. The breakfast in the morning was excellent. We even had some champagne🥂, which was a nice surprise. All in all, it was a nice experience.

Faboulus location, 10 mins from the main roads yet a nature treasure. Nice hotel and clean rooms. View to the river is beautiful. Very relaxing stay with great breakfast and lovely staff. Many outdoor activities, calming walks or hikes, water sports, tennis and table tennis, trampoline all avaliable for the guests. Also pet friendly.

Rooms are a bit basic but clean and quiet.

Both the breakfast buffet and restaurant menu were wonderfully delicious. The surrounding area had great hiking trails and tourist attractions, but it was remote enough to also enjoy a peaceful getaway. We brought our 0 and 3 year old children with and they were they were very accommodating with our needs.

Room missed a water boiler; shower was in bathtub with water hose inconveniently stretched from tap to “shower head hanging point”; room was quite noisy as door does not close tightly and corridor is narrow and echos voices.

It felt like every opportunity was taken to charge us extra from the mini bar to a simple bottle of water!

The service was excellent, we had a late request for birthday celebrations that they did a great job of handling.
