We have been at the hotel for a second time; we enjoy the location and area. The rooms are well sized, the beds very comfortable, it is convenient with the dog and the sauna and swimming pool are fantastic. The spa is inclusive in the price and slippers and a robe were available in the rooms for free. Really convenient. Except for the green environment and the old city, there is a fantastic exhibition - The family of man - in the castle.

Free water bottles are in the room and the water from the tap is also drinking water; however, no coffee and tea making facilities in the room. A freely available tea selection is available at the spa when taking a bath. Parking is on the city’s paid parking facilities (can be paid in advance). It is not too expensive.

We had such a great time! The wellness center was awesome — sauna, hammam, infrared room, salt cave, relaxation room, pool, jacuzzi, free tea… everything you could want. The room was super comfy, with a really good bed and pillows. The decor and carpet are a little old-school, but it was all super clean and well taken care of, so no complaints. Breakfast was great too, with tons of options.

The scrambled eggs were pretty horrible. But there was so much else to choose from that it didn’t matter.

Spa area was absolutely perfect. Room was very spacious. Location very central. Perfect for relaxing.

Rooms a bit outdated. Very hot with no airconditioning. They did provide us with a fan. Already a healthy but acceptable price. But every possible add-on was marked-up too high. Breakfast at full brunch buffet prices. Parking (which was very narrow) for €15 per day when you can park outside for free or for a day fee of €5.

The building is really beautiful and I loved the room, the wellness area is cool. The room was clean, and I made a special request, which they did without additional cost. I was really surprised because I wouldn't have expected it at all. Great restaurant as well. Good location

So I added an additional day to my stay which I was expecting the basic amenitie (water to drink) I was told they don't give water after the 1st day which makes no sense for a four star hotel, if I had changed a room I would have found 2 bottles of water so why would the second day be different??? I have been to different locations, and water is always added then when I require additional (extra cost as it's supposed to be).

Tom on reception made the start of our stay a great experience. Kudos to him. All the staff were very polite and helpful. The hotel is very clean. Our room 405 was massive. Even has 4 english speaking tv channels. Breakfast very good, when I asked for gluten free bread they supplied really good bread plus some cakes.

Some suggestions for improvements, bedroom curtains were shear, so as soon as the sun was up, so were we, some black out ones would be appreciated. I would like tea/coffee facilities in the room.

Excellent location, breakfast was great and even had bubbles on offer. But by far the best part was the staff, who are extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant by the way is probably the best in town, and great value for money.

The hotel needs a bit of refurbishing, but they are aware so that is reflected in the price. Some of the renovations are actually ongoing, and I had an issue with the noise, but they offered to move (and upgrade) us to another room for that, so I really can’t complain.

Very friendly staff. All the food on site was great - breakfast was very good and fresh. Their on site restuarants were very good and everywhere was dog friendly (apart from the spa obviously!). Great location

The large double bed did not have a big enough sheet on it so it kept coming untucked in the night which was really annoying and they only provided 2 pillows so we had to ask for more. I would have thought that a hotel of this standard would have tea and coffee facilities in the room.

Huge room and bathroom, nice beds and excellent breakfast. Good quality towels and bath robes. Location about 1 kilometre from train station. Starting points of hiking routes were close and it was nice to enjoy saunas and swimming pool after hiking day. Just for information: saunas are "naturist saunas" so be aware of that. Wearing towel was ok.

The style of the rooms is a bit "greetings from the 1990´s" but this a matter of taste.

Convenient location in the center of the small town. The room was large and overall very quiet. Water, robes and slippers for the spa were in the room. (Bring your towel with you from the room.) Good place to relax with a little luxury.

When we checked-in we were told about breakfast serving hours. We later asked to confirm if it was included, and we were told yes. However, upon checking out the next day we were charged for breakfast -which was quite expensive, basically half the price of our stay. Check the spa's opening hours if you arrive in the evening. We were told that it closes at 9pm. We brought our bags to our room to get settled in before going to swim, but when we went it was closing at 8pm -in 5 minutes- and could no longer go. We had a long journey that day and we were really looking forward to it. At least we got to swim in the morning.

It was clean, the staff is very nice, free entrance to the swimming pool and sauna, location is in the city. Free parking around (as long as there is no market)

There was no airco, but they gave you a ventilator. The sauna is supposed to be open at 10 AM but it was still cold at 11 AM
