Stylish, comfortable and close to the forest

None of the pools are open to children. They're very transparent about this when you book but it's still a shame when it's otherwise so well configured for families

We had a really nice stay at MIX, the overall interior and facilities were fantastic and modern. The food hall downstairs was great, we really enjoyed the variety of that they had. The spa and pool was great and clean. The late checkout was a good option too. The hotel wasn't too far from the main city (25 mins drive).

As this is a wellness hotel, I would have loved if the room had robes and slippers. We did find the breakfast nice, however I do think it was a little overpriced. I understand the hotel is still quite new so there will probably be some additions as time goes on, but it would be nice if there were more activities for guests or even some light entertainment for the evening.

This was our second stay the The Mix and we once again had a great time! Comfortable and spacious rooms (we asked for a room away from the busy street, and it was very quiet), tastefully decorated, access to a fantastic gym and spa. The Fox food court downstairs has a wide variety of delicious food (we had tasty poke bowls and amazing tacos) and drinks. Located in an upmarket and leafy suburb of Brussels, right opposite a tram line and next to a number of parks.

In general staff are not as helpful and friendly as they could be. And the arrangement at breakfast where you are given an empty coffee mug on arrival is just strange for a hotel (could perhaps have been sensible for a school canteen). Breakfast has potential, but the layout of the breakfast area leads to crowding and long waiting times. And you really should be able to get two eggs sunny side up when you have paid around €25 for breakfast (the “scrambled eggs” have a strange consistency and did not taste like eggs at all - getting eggs sunny side up was a mission).

We are regular visitors by now. We always enjoy the quiet, leafy neighbourhood. And the cool architecture, as well as the tasteful decor. The spa is fantastic, with a variety of saunas. Check out the Joule cafe - delicious coffee, fresh cakes and delicious food.

We avoid the buffet breakfast and rather have a coffee at Joule. Staff could be better trained and friendlier, especially at the gym.

I really really REALLY hate how the kids are not allowed it the swimming pool!! Please improve that!! Well everything else was AMAZING!!

I loved this place! I almost didn’t book it because of the reviews - luckily I nevertheless did. The architecture is astonishing, every detail well thought of. If you like design, you need to see this place! You need to understand that it’s a big building, the hotel is just one small bit of their offer - so not everything is centred around hotel guests. Gym and wellness are primarily open to members, locals. Naturally this makes it more busy than other hotel gyms and spa - but also much more authentic and genuine. I had a great workout and swim afterwards (outside pool was empty). Particularly the spa should be perceived more as “after workout relax” than silent, mindful experience. Tourism is often criticised as a bubble, disconnected from real life, and here you have an opportunity to defy that. Location wise - the tram station is right in front of it, which makes it very convenient.

Located in one of the most beautiful neighbourhoods in Brussels with numerous parks; situated in a gorgeous building dating back to the beginning of the 1970s; housing a fantastic spa and gym; the food court downstairs offers a wide variety of tasty food and drink; the Joule coffee shop has delicious fresh meals and awesome coffee (try the avocado toast and the carrot cake!); the rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated; the saunas, steam bath and salt room are magnificent!

More and more people are using the lobby of the hotel and the cafe as a remote work location - it becomes crowded and noisy; the entrance to the hotel is rather neglected.

The room was very beautiful and comfortable. The spa facilities and gym were nice. The breakfast was super good, and the staf was friendly. The location was easy to access by public transport. The food court was a very nice thing to enjoy as well.

The wellness is still under construction, the outdoor pool was closed and the jacuzzi was not opened yet. Since they are still working, sometimes you could hear the drilling on the wall. After 4 pm the spa was very crouded because people living in brussels go for the gym and spa. In the mornings there was always a class in the pool with very loud and anoying music, not relaxing at all. It feels like this hotel is more for people that go for work and want to mix it with relaxation that just for people on holidays. Its also good if you live in Brussels and want to go to workout, but its not recommended as a wellness.

I literally have nothing to complain about. I wanted to surprise my boyfriend and they told me they don’t have decoration services but they could allow early check so I can do it myself. From the moment I arrived until the moment I left everyone was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good and the gym and spa area amazing!

The only thing I did not like was the parking facility. It was €22 per day, which is reasonable however this price only applies if you stay parked there the entire day. If you decide to park in the garage and go in and out, you will have to pay each time you decide to go out. So then the €22 doesn’t apply

had a wonderful stay at this spacious hotel with my family. Although our little one couldn't use the pool, they thoroughly enjoyed the food court and breakfast options. The hotel is a perfect destination for wellness, spa, and retreat sessions—truly relaxing and rejuvenating. Having traveled extensively across Europe, I can confidently say this is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. I will certainly be returning!

One downside, however, was that the toilet room didn’t have a hand-washing facility. You had to walk through the room to the main bathroom to wash your hands, which was a bit inconvenient.
