Friendly staff and comfortable room and safe parking facilities

No fridge. Cost of breakfast and no coffee or tea making facilities. Asked for 2 cups of tea which cost 8.50 euros. The restaurant was lovely and food delicious but quite expensive and took ages for our order to be taken for food and drinks.

i like the room. i also liked the bathroom, it had a nice bathtub. the bed was comfy. the hotel is right in front the bus station on the way to Brussels and two restaurants, which was very nice, because we arrived starving at Saturday night when everything was already closed

everything was great, but a cleaning lady was a bit rude. We asked a receptionist if it was possible to check out later cause we had some things to do for work, and she said it was not a problem. But then the cleaning lady came and was rude to us that we were staying longer

we arived late but even when checkin was closed the staf made sure we got to our room. the went above and beyond to accomodate our tardiness and i am thankfull

the shower and curtains were not made for standing up, so the bathroom got realy wet and slippery. but that is a small detail

The staff was super nice and helpful, even with the language difficulties. They had a party in the garden that night, and they upgraded me to a room on the 3rd floor so I could have a good night's sleep. The room was, indeed, comfy, spacious, very clean, calm, and quiet. Loved it and woke up very relaxed. Great bed, loved the shower, the double sink, and there was complimentary mineral water in the room. The New Fox also has superb a restaurant right across the street which I highly recommend. I had such a great Irish fillet with yummy grilled veggies and pepper sauce that I never wanted it to end. Ended up ordering a chocolate ice cream with chocolate sauce too, which was also out of this world. The restaurant staff was also super nice, I can only congratulate you on the experience! I also had a great breakfast at the hotel, fresh veggies, they made scrambled eggs for me, and the coffee was also great-tasting and plenty.

The free wi-fi was patchy and mostly didn't connect. My laptop's firewall detected 2 intrusion attempts during the night. The receptionist, when saw me up to my room and showed me how the shower worked, treaded on the bathroom rug in his street shoes, which I was going to step on barefooted after taking a shower... I then didn't.

Hotel with young dynamic staff, who work hard to provide a pleasant stay to their guests. The rooms are simple and modern, and everything is clean and in good working order. The bed was very comfortable. I arrived after 21.00, and was pleased to see that they had an (outside) summer bar with tapas and other snacks. I ordered the Chef's tapas plate, which was excellent. There is also a New Fox Brasserie/restaurant just across the street, with a kitchen that is open until 23.00. Big, free parking. I reserved breakfast (15 euro); this was a small but nice buffet-type breakfast.

It appears that there used to be a fridge in the room, but that had been removed. The hotel is located along a busy street, so don't expect stunning views or so ( on the other hand, it is easy to reach, there is the free parking and I did not hear any traffic noise in the room...). Breakfast was nice, but with 15 Euro - compared to some other hotels and B&Bs - just slightly overpriced

Room was ok, I got one of the underground rooms. Bed was comfy, bathroom was big with bathtub/shower. Staff was very helpful and nice. Every question I had was answered. There is parking in front of the hotel, hotel restaurant serves delicious food.

Door was letting ALL the sounds in the room, not soundproof at all, which was a bit annoying.

Warm, cosy and everything you need on your doorstep. Staff were lovely and really helpful! Lovely continental breakfast and highly recommend the Italian restaurant 4straganolia-especially the pizza!

the only negative I have is we only had one bottle of water for the whole duration of stay and there is no tea/coffee facilities. so one bottle between two people for 3 nights stay wasn’t enough. but we did buy some more so wasn’t too bad.

Simple, basic room - very clean rooms and very friendly staff. Good location if you have a party in de Hophoeve

Good location. Comfortable bed. Clean although dated.

Very hot in the room. Breakfast staff very noisy preparing before 0600. Entrance door to room 24 was wide open when we woke. It appears the latch requires the door to be shut firmly to work.
