Situated in the city centre, nevertheless quite room even on the street side. Everything on walking distance, even the train station which is about 10 minutes walking. Very nice and helpful staff. A special compliment to Wendy of the reception. Breakfast is continental and fine. Everything is available, otherwise, just ask for it.

As Aalst is situated in Belgium, land of beer, the choice of beer is a bit low. If I remember well, there were only 3 or 4 different beers available. But, for those who love wine, plenty of good wine. Otherwise there is nothing to complain.

The hotel offers a great and calm atmosphere. The interior design is well chosen. We were welcomed by a professional and very friendly receptionist. Her assistance was very helpful. The products of the breakfast buffet were excellent, very fresh and tasty. The breakfast assistant was very kind and offered a welcoming and relaxing service. We loved the background music in the breakfast room.

It’s only a 10 minute walk from the train station so it’s very close by. The city centre is just a short walk away from the hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and even complimented my extremely basic Dutch. I look forward to stopping here again when I come to Aalst in the future

It was summer so no air conditioning but fans were good .

Location was perfect! Staff was amazingly friendly and acoomodating. Breakfast was great.

The only thing I did not care for was the small shower. However we have traveled a lot and this seems to be the norm in Europe compared to the states.

This is a lovely hotel, well-appointed and nicely decorated. Our room was large, with a decent-sized bathroom and a good shower. The bed was a good size, and comfortable. A Dyson fan was provided, which was much needed! The breakfast was small but excellent quality - the scrambled eggs were the best I've ever had! The staff were lovely and helpful, and I would definitely stay there again.

It would have been useful to have been provided with directions to the close-by car park (and directions on walking from car park to hotel) before we arrived, as we ended up driving around, and then wandering, in the heat for quite a while. But overall, I have no criticisms of this lovely place.

We stayed for one night. It is in a central position, clean and well maintained (even the xmass decoration where beautiful). We were warmly received and the breakfast was excellent.

The hotel is centrally located. The room is of sufficient size, modern and newly refurbished. Extremely helpful and welcoming staff. Possibility to park the car behind the hotel in a public parking lot where there is no charge from 07.00 PM to 09.00 AM, thereafter € 1.- / hour with a maximum of € 4.- / day. Many restaurants nearby or within 10 minutes walking distance in the central square of Aalst. The breakfast buffet is well garnished with hot and cold breakfast items.

Hard to find any problematic points. There was a problem with flushing the toilet, as it took 20 minutes to fill the tank. The ventilation in the bathroom was too weak. These problems can easily be solved.

The information about the history and the quality of the finish. Also amazing honest bar.

The shower was very strong but overshot the shower tray.

Location. It's location was perfect for us. In the nice city center area. Parking. I will suggest that hotel sends the instruction / location of the parking to the customers before hand. There is a good parking at low price just in the backyard of the hotel. And Nadia in the reception is very nice lady with a kind smile, always!

Price and quality doesnt quite match. I will not book the "budget room" next time. It was really designed to make you sure you've got what you'd booked. Rooms are almost "sad". Rooms facing the street are noisy. Or aybe because our window could not close tightly. Nadia had warned me about the noise, and I should better had listened to her advice. Does the power outlets go off when you turn the light off? Or was it just my charger? It's not funny with a discharged phone in the morning. A bottle of water doesn't cost that much, but it's good to have it when you just arrive to the room until you can find your way.
