Lovely welcome here - arrived slightly early but no issues getting checked in, great breakfast and surprisingly strong beer on the bar! Plenty of space to park and the rooms are cosy and well kitted out. Sort of motel like in feel, appreciated the outside blind to help keep the room cool given the mini heatwave. Easy to get into town, 10 minutes walk to nearest tram stop and then about another 10 minutes ride and you're in the center. Gent is a lovely city to visit and this was perfect for our days stop.

The staff is very friendly and helpful and the restaurant is very good with very nice people right there: I tried excellent authentic Belgian food for the first time (photos attached) and you may tweak the order as you want! The room was comfortable and included everything one may need including a kettle with coffee & tea. I had a car so I did not have a problem with the peripheral location (not so near to the historical city). Free parking is available with lot of space. Bathroom was also spacious with clean towels, hot water, and hair dryer.

The building and furniture are rather old with sub-optimal acoustic isolation, but still appropriate. For a two-star hotel, I was overall very satisfied.

As usual I travel unsocial hours and I stop between 1 and 2 pm as being a truck driver I have to take a minimum 9hr break So i have to leave at about 12am or 1am so I can get to the port in time to catch my ferry So the Lovely people arranged a Breakfast food bag for me to take it was very good 2 1/2 sandwiches cake apple yogurt and a bottle of fizzy drink Thank you so much it was well appreciated

Coffee making wasn't up to much No milk only 2 coffee sachets Also my room had no curtains just nets and on the ground floor but it did not bother me as was so tired

The room was comfortable, the toilet had enough space. Also it had a wardrobe with good space. There was a kettle for boiling water any time you needed to prepare a tea or coffee that was offered by the hotel. The breakfast had different options among bread, fruit, yogurt, etc. The reception front desk was next to the restaurant that offered dinner every night. I only went one time and the meal was really tasty. All the staff was really friendly.

TV device was simple with a variety of channels but it was not possible to add any other applications such as YouTube or Netflix.

The staff were amazing with looking out for me. Recommended an awesome beer at dinner. The room itself was spic'n'span and comfortable in every way, only the exterior is not "brand new". I absolutely will stay here again, without hesitation. I consider it a great value. The on-site restaurant isn't a "compromise out of convenience" or anything - no, it's actually a good place to eat!! Internet was better than most, that made my life easier.

No negatives.

Great bar restaurant and the staff were so helpful. We had dogs so they put us on the ground floor for easy access to the grassy area. It's quite even with its proximity to the road.

My only two negatives were the bed was rather too soft and the room was a little run down but for the cost I still think it's a bargain. No public transport links into town if that's what you are looking for. Although the park and ride is only a few minutes away and costs 5 euros return. Dogs ride free.

The location is easy to find and close enough to tram stations to get into town, few minutes drive to a local Aldi and also restaurants and takeaways. 3 minutes away from the motorway so very easy to get to other major city’s

The property has plenty of parking. The rooms are really good sized and great value for money. The bar are is quite large and a great atmosphere

Lovely little hotel, staff super friendly and helpful and little bar pleasant for a drink. Can also purchase a small range of snacks. Rooms clean and tidy. Free onsite parking.

Dated decor, lights in all rooms not working. A little way out so nothing really in the area especially when the restaurant is not open at the weekends for any food other than breakfast.

The room was very clean and it was cleaned each day after we left it in the morning. Used things like tea, coffee were replaced and the room was restored to the condition we received it on the first day. The breakfast that the hotel offers was also excellent. The staff was very friendly, too.

The hotel is far from the city center. Bus is the only option to reach the downtown. The problem with this is that the interval between buses are very long. If you miss one, you need to wait long for the other one to come.

ALL WENT WELL Nice hotel and room. Pleasant staff. Good breakfast. FREE CAR PARKIING. Room was clean and well taken care of. All services and equipment worked good. Small restaurant with good food. Bus transportation immediately outside the property. If you rather the TRAM is about 15-20 minutes walk near by. Both are good and get you to Ghent Central station.

My wife are senior citizens and we loved this hotel. PERIOD.
