Breakfast was fabulous especially the fruit salads, all freshly cut and whole lot of different fruit in a red/ blu and a yellow/ white salad also egg and bacon and delicious croissants and rolls Garage parking is not for the faint hearted, especially on leaving, but we were grateful it was an option! Staff all around very friendly, beds fabulous - bathrooms very good, all recently refurbished. Colours light and fresh, good lighting. Location a bit off centre, but we liked the walk into town and the impressions you can get along the way. Loved the city, especially positive impression of the STAM museum! and we loved the ruined St Bravo’s abbey. Lots of really good restaurants but you need to book!! Super scenic also good to take a boats ride.

The design of the place was beautiful - really soothing and eye-pleasing with lovely public areas and bedrooms. It looks like a new renovation, very high spec and super clean. it created a very relaxing atmosphere. The staff were really kind and helpful: one guided us through our train bookings during a train strike and the others made great suggestions for places to eat and places to visit.

The windows were open a tiny bit when we arrived - but it was dark at such an angle ( at the top) we couldn't see. Also they were quite stiff. So we left it, thinking maybe they were closed. As a result it was a noisy night and we didn't sleep well. We closed them in the morning but they were open again that night. I appreciate they keep the room smelling fresh but it might be a good idea for reception staff to mention it or print it on the card on the windowsill or on key wallet

Breakfast was truly great (fresh fruits pineapple, grape, kiwi, etc.), fresh salad, eggs, bacon, fruit yogurt, fresh pastry, butter, milk, coffee, tea, juice, croissants, cakes, muesli, a few nice cheese options, some more meat options, etc. There are enough options for vegetarians and even vegans. The ladies serving the breakfast are especially nice. My room was spacious and quite clean, and the beds were a bit more soft than I am used to but still comfortable. Room cleaning happened each day, and the refilling of some sample cakes, coffee, and tea that one could prepare inside their room. You could also prepare yourself a coffee or tea in the hotel lobby for free at any time. There is a self-checkout if you need to leave early while reception isn't yet open. Just be sure to pay the staying tax earlier. The location is quite good, ~30min walking to the old city and very close to the train station. The bathroom is spacious enough and the bathtub can fit a large/tall person very well. Hot water starts pouring quite fast. Windows can be opened for fresh air to come into a room. WIFI is free and works OK. Overall I had a very nice stay in this hotel. I'd recommend it to anyone.

The only thing that annoyed me a bit was the AC that I needed to use for heating as it produces a bit of hum and that can bother some people while sleeping. But that heating solution is something many other hotels use, so it's not that big of an issue.

I had a great stay at this place. I enjoyed my quiet and peaceful days and nights. My room was facing the courtyard so the environment kept nice and quiet. The room was spacious, especially the bathroom. The staff was very friendly. The location is great near the railway station. I would definitely stay here again. This is good value for money!

Currently (in January 2025) the tram does not operate on the street in front of the hotel at all. The closest tram stop is located at the railway station within a short walk.

Very clean and comfortable room/hotel. We stayed in a double room with a view to the street. Everything was very nice. Staff at the reception was lovely and very helpful. Highly recomend this hotel. Mind you it is about 20 minutes walk from the main city centre.

The only little issue we had was that it felt like there were refurbishment works taking place either the floor above or below as we could hear something constantly being dropped and moved on the floor making a thumping noise in the wall. It was not a bit deal though.

A beautifully calm and peaceful hotel. The breakfast was delicious with hot food and a variety of fruit salads and pastries. The room was daily cleaned and towels regularly changed. Restaurants nearby and trams conveniently placed for Ghent, a five minute journey.

Everything was so good apart from the coffee at breakfast time. The coffee was hot but we would have preferred it freshly brewed.

We booked at the last second when we found out that the other hotel we had booked originally applies a fee for holding on to your luggage before check-in. Not only they kept the luggage for us but we found in the room when we returned. Also the staff was all very friendly and eager to help. Another nice surprise was the high speed Internet (ofer 400mbps) in the room. We were very happy with our last second change and would definitely stay again.

Everything! Close to the train station and the museums at citadel Park. I walked to the old town and it only took about 20 or 25 minutes. I felt very safe everywhere. They stored my luggage after I checked out, which was wonderful. It was great that they had free water, coffee, and tea in the lobby every day.

Very friendly and helpful staff - feels like a really well-run family hotel (it probably is). Very clean & comfortable throughout. Breakfast was delicious, with local, premium products (like the marmelade/jam). 24/7 accessibility. Parking onsite. I felt very lucky to have found this hotel online, since pictures, star ratings or reviews can't always convey this kind of quality.

The single room was small, but good enough for my short stay.

This hotel is very nice. I got a quiet room facing inner courtyard - it was super quiet indeed. Sleep quality is excellent. Everything is very new and clean. Wi-fi is very good. Breakfast is very delicious - everything is super fresh and high quality. When I went to the old town, it was raining and the hotel has free umbrellas to borrow. Railway station is 3 mins walk and St. Michael’s bridge is 20 mins walk.
