Wow - what an incredibly lovely hotel! I thought the hotel was in a great location - very walkable to all attractions but also in a quieter area. The hotel itself was very quiet - no noise at all from the hallways or other rooms. My room was really spacious and comfortable. Lots of storage and I was happy to have Netflix on the TV! Really cozy bed and the Codage bath products are heavenly! Having private access to the spa was amazing! I was recovering from a cold, so the sauna and eucalyptus in the hammam were just what I needed. I would absolutely recommend the One Two Four hotel to anyone visiting Ghent!

The breakfast was not worth the extra charge in my opinion. There was no hot food and not a great selection. I ended up skipping it and going to one of the many great brunch spots in the area. Also, there were two lights on the ceiling of my room that were very annoying when I was trying to fall asleep at night. One was a red light that was constantly flashing, it seemed like a motion sensor because it flashed every time I moved in bed. The other was a green light from I think the smoke detector. Safety first of course - but the green glow it created in the room irritated me as I like to sleep in a pretty dark room. Other than these two minor things, I was really happy with the hotel!

Very nice room featuring a modern and minimal design approach. The personalized, hand written welcome letter that we found during our arrival made us feel very welcome - a very nice touch. We really liked the central control of lights, temperature and Bluetooth connection so that you could listen to your own music. There is a very pleasant smell throughout the whole hotel, which is very inviting. The spa was the cherry on top of the cake, a truly unforgettable experience. We really appreciated the kindness of the staff, very friendly and welcoming.

The moment you step into this hotel, the calming spa fragrance sets the perfect tone for a relaxing stay. The attention to detail is evident from the automated doors to the exceptional welcome from Rodney at reception, who treats every guest like a VIP. The rooms are excellent, but what truly sets this hotel apart is its outstanding service. Despite missing the regular spa booking window, Rodney went above and beyond to arrange a special after-hours session. This level of personalized attention demonstrates the staff's genuine commitment to guest satisfaction. With its combination of luxurious amenities and exceptional service, this hotel has earned my highest recommendation. I'm already looking forward to my next visit. 5/5 stars

the door at the finish sauna was broken so I could not use it but nothing major given there is much more you can do in the spa.

This property is a must stay if your visiting Gent! Well above expectations! Location is perfect, rooms were perfect and you get a 60 min private spa visit. Also they have private garage parking, which was excellent because be drove from England and took the ferry. Breakfast was amazing, the selection was a great variety of just about anything and you can think of and still have pancakes or eggs to order freshly cooked. Rooms were lovely and beds were comfortable along with the heated floors in the bathroom. If i could give them an 10++ I would! Rodney our receptionist was super helpful and very knowledgeable about sights and locations we wanted to see and always super friendly and a bonus for our stay.

Nothing … EVERYTHING was beyond great !

The hotel is modern, luxurious yet has a very comfortable and familiar flair. The room is big enough for 2 people, bed and pillows super comfortable, bathroom perfectly equipped, everything is super clean and well thought through. Breakfast is excellent: everything is fresh, bio and sustainable, there is buffet + you can order fresh omelette and pancakes. The Spa is really the icing on the cake: 1 hour private space with sauna, hammam and infra-red for the spine, fresh ginger water, towels, slippers, bath robe, shampoo, shower gel and body lotion. They offer a private parking slot in a garage for 20€/day just across the street. Staff super friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend this hotel!

Good location 15 mins walk to centre. Very comfortable, modern room. We enjoyed our free hour in the spa; it was a lovely bonus. Aminata on Reception was brilliant; she arranged for our room to be ready for 11:30 when I emailed to say we would be arriving early and told us street parking is free on Sundays. I was just expecting to drop off luggage but it was a lovely bonus to have our room ready. We loved Ghent, the boat trip is very good and it has many beautiful buildings.

Nothing - all good

The hotel was located in a quiet area but just a short walk form the main squares and churches. It is a beautifully restored building maintaining a sense of the original granduer. We were met by a very friendly member of staff who went out of his way to help us. The room was beautifully and tastefully appointed, spacious and clean. The extra touches - a hand written welcome note, sweets, coffee, water - all added to the sense of being 'looked after'. The room was very comfortable and high tech. I really can't think of anything else we could have wanted/needed.

I totally enjoyed my stay in One Two Four hotel. Great location, lovely calm interior, lots of comfort and incredible hospitality would be my words about the experience. I would also mention great quality of sleep - mattress, fluffy pillows and blanket. And of course a unique feature of the hotel - private spa experience is very special. And on top of everything I really appreciate care and attention of personnel.

Very friendly and helpful staff, who try to fulfill all your wishes. Elegant rooms with high-tech equipment. Very comfortable beds. Great spa with sauna and steam bath. Very good breakfast for a fair price. Pretty good location within walking distance to the historic city center and public transport.

As chic as the (bathroom) design is, it is not the most user-friendly: water splashes everywhere from the sink and the shower. The towel heating gets switched on accidentally. Even though we set the aircondition low, it was still quite warm in the room, perhaps because of the floor heating in the bath. Oh, and the toilets should be cleaned better!

The hotel was spotless and stylish, with staff who were genuinely attentive throughout our stay. Being a small boutique hotel, it was wonderfully quiet and peaceful. The built-in ceiling speakers were a great touch, and having full control of the room's settings right next to the bed made everything feel effortless.

I personally prefer thinner pillows, but that's just down to personal preference.
