Good location, easy to find. Self check-in and check-out was smooth though reception was also available 24 hours. The room was fairly small but the high ceilings made it feel more spacious. The kitchenette had what we needed to make breakfast in the morning. There was a small supermarket about 7-8 min walk. The old town was about a 15 minute walk to the center.

The bathrooms were all glass (frosted glass but could still see shadows) so it could be uncomfortable depending on how well you know the person you're sharing a room with. We used this apartment as a base location to explore other parts of Belgium and while the trams stop is only about 5 mins it took about 15-20 to get to the train station from the tram stop. Not terrible but not the most convenient either. No A/C. While it wasn't very hot the days we were there I can see that the room would be pretty uncomfortable in the heat of the summer.

Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. The location was ideal, just a short walk to the city centre, with a lovely bakery around the corner for breakfast. The bathroom had lots of space for toiletries, and even with the couch used as a bed, there was still enough seating for us. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful.

A couple of small things to note: the reading light was quite bright, brighter than the main lights, making reading when others want to sleep hard. With the sofa bed in use, there wasn’t much floor space left for large suitcases, though it was fine for smaller ones. Also, after showering, some water leaked into the bathroom floor when opening the door.

Getaway Studios Gent offers modern, spacious rooms ideal for both short and extended stays. Each studio is equipped with a kitchenette, complete with a fridge and all the necessary tools for cooking and preparing breakfast. The rooms are clean, well-lit, and thoughtfully furnished with a comfortable couch and a table with chairs, suitable for dining or working. Be aware, after using dishes and cutlery, one has to clean those before leaving the apartment at the end of the stay or a penalty will be charged. One unique design feature in my room was the bathroom, enclosed by frosted glass walls near the door—an interesting and modern touch. The location is excellent: just a short walk from the city center and main attractions. Several stores (for groceries for examples) and a major bus stop are located nearby, making it easy to get around. For those interested in fitness, there’s a climbing gym within a 30-minute walk. Nothing to complain about.

The studios are a good size with very comfortable beds. The kitchen provides everything you need if you are cooking your own food. There is ample space for a couple but I think having a 3rd person in the room would make it a bit claustrophobic. The studios are also very close to the centre of Ghent with great restaurants and sights well within walking distance.

I was there during a heat wave. A flimsy fan was provided which really didn't help at all. The room is very exposed - the large window opens out onto a courtyard of sorts so there was no privacy and the bathroom is behind (obscured) glass so you needed to shut the curtains when using the facilities. The bathroom door was very heavy so it couldn't be left open so the bathroom became very hot all the time. I had to use my suitcase to keep it open. Workman started drilling at 7am... In spite of the above, I would still recommend.

The appartments are located within a walking distance to the city center so everything was near and easy to move. The staff was so nice but also you could do your own check in with some computers at the entrance which made everything super easy for us. The room was clean, comfy and with everything you need for a short stay.

We were a group of friends and we did not like that the bathroom has seethrough walls.. like we could see each other in the shower and staff. I think that was a bit awkard. It would have been nice to have better blackout curtains as well the room got too much sun (which was great) but it also got the room too bright too early and hot as well.

The location of the hotel is very good; it is very close to the city center. The tram stop and hop-on-hop-off boat stop are around 200 meters away. (I recommend getting a Ghent card to use all transportation for free.) The room was quite sufficient for us. The sofa bed was okay for my son to sleep on, the room was clean, and all required kitchen utensils were available. We stayed for 3 nights and were happy to reach the city center easily. I definitely recommend it for families for their short stays, and 3 nights are quite enough to see the beauty of Ghent

Nice studio in the heart of Ghent. The kitchenette and fridge allow to save some money on food and drinks. There's salt and pepper, but a bit of cooking oil would have been welcome.

I really didn't like the big warning on de 25 Euro fine for not washing the dishes. I pretty much understand that washing the dishes is a duty of one who uses the kitchen, so it doesn't need to be there in big letters. Even so, a fine would be fine to me, if the money is given to the cleaning personnel, which I'm sure is not the case. The stylish brush provided in the kitchen doesn't clean very much, a small sponge would have been better. And the microwave was still splattered by the lasagna of a long ago guest, I left it cleaner than I found it. Also, what's funny about the "joke" on selfies in the bathroom?

The room is really spacious and the place is very close to popular tourist destinations. The heating is superb and the water pressure is really nice. There are so much amenities that makes stay very convenient and accessible. For instance, there are tons of lockers, 24/7 checkin, self service checkout. The lobby lounge is really nice.

Few things that we didn’t like. The lighting in the room is very sparse, so at night you can barely see anything. It makes for a cozy aura but would be nice to have more bright lighting. The toilet is nice but it was only covered by translucent glass walls, so even if I’m travelling with my partner, it would still have been nice if the toilet is concealed. Kinda weird to do your business, when your silhouette is showing on the outside. Nice retractable TV especially when watching from bed, however, it doesn’t have Netflix or not possible to cast from your device, so a little minus points if you want to do a staycation here. And finally, the room could have used bigger trash bins.

The location is top, walking distance to the city centre. The studio is spacious and it has many amenities (e.g. iron, frigo, stove). You can do your own check in and check out.

There was an issue with the hot water. The air conditioning didn't seem to work at all. Unfortunately, there is no option for breakfast and the nearby coffee places are not opened until late. Luckily, the supermarket in the city centre opened at 08.00. The studio is not cleaned daily, but weekly, unless you pay an extra fee of EUR 25.

The location is central. There are self check-in kiosks at the entrance, which made the process very easy for us. We easily reached both the city center and the hotel using the tram station nearby. The hotel is in a great spot — very close to everywhere and within walking distance. We really liked it. The only thing we weren't completely satisfied with was the lack of a bathroom door. Unfortunately, it wasn't very comfortable when using the toilet. The interior decoration of the place was beautiful.
