The staff is amazing! Hotel is directly on the Tram 1 & 3 lines and takes 15 min to get to St Peter's train station. Super easy to train to Brussels or Bruges for the day. Hotel’s central location is perfect for meandering the streets of Ghent. Cathedrals, restaurants, and more are within a few minutes walk. Family triple room is huge and double room with terrace has an enormous patio. Rooms also had a fridge. Lobby bar and rooftop restaurant were busy!

The bathroom in the family room had a textured glass wall so the 3 teens were not comfortable using the bathroom when others were there. Otherwise, it was perfect!

I booked the Penthouse with terrace mainly because of the beautiful views shown in the listing — especially those facing the historic old town with its towers, which appeared to be the standard. While I did get the Penthouse, the terrace faced south, not toward the old town to the west, as I had expected. It turns out only one of the Penthouses offers that iconic view, while others face west. The photos on Booking.com were a bit misleading, as they mostly showcased the old town or close-up details, creating the impression that this was typical. To be fair, I should have noticed that earlier and contacted the reception — they told me the room was already booked, but had I reached out sooner, they would have moved us. So that part was on me. That aside, the location was excellent, the design stunning, and overall, everything else was superb.

The placement of the sink was a bit unusual — it was outside the bathroom, positioned between the terrace window and the wall. It didn’t cause major issues, but it felt slightly out of place for such a well-designed room.

This hotel has a wonderful feeling and is in the centre of the town. There was a lot of choice for breakfast. There is a rooftop bar where you can look out over the whole city. Would definitely recommend this hotel and stay again if we go to Ghent again.

Not a big problem, but the hotel parking directions lead you into a no entry road (the car park entrance is just past the no entry sign on the right), we however did not go through the no entry sign so ended up parking in the main underground city car park. This is only a 5 minute walk away and is 10 euros cheaper. I would recommend parking in that instead.

Our stay at the hotel was wonderful! The hotel is beautiful, the design is stunning, and the location is 10/10. The staff were extremely kind and welcoming, and we truly felt at home. The room was perfectly clean upon arrival.

However, during our 7-night stay, the bed linen was never changed, and the room was neither vacuumed nor the floors/dust cleaned, which is my only complaint. Everything else was phenomenal, and I would happily return, hoping for more thorough daily cleaning in the future.

- Location is excellent, within walking distance from the centre and easy to drive to from the E40 - Rooms are modern and clean, really nice artistic touches and the shower isexcellent - Restaurant/bar is a really nice place to sit for a few drinks - Hotel staff are really friendly and helpful

- Breakfast is very good, but is €29 per person. There are cheaper options nearby if you don't want to pay it - Some double rooms are considerably bigger than others, so something to bear in mind when travelling with a baby needing a cot - Parking is €30/day (but then is in a city centre so fair enough - just to be aware of)

The place was great, good breakfast, comfortable room. The staff helped me with all my requests, specially when I was leaving, as it was a bit difficult to get a taxi as the streets in the neighbourhood were closed. Location was great, and close to the historic part of the city and to the places I needed to go. I really enjoyed the stay at the hotel.

The only detail with the room was that it was not very convenient to work. I had to put my notebook was on the desk beside the washbasin. And the chair was too high, not comfortable to sit for a long time. In this particular trip I had to use too much time working inside the room, but I guess in other circumstances it would have been less relevant .

One of the nicest hotels we stayed in- new, trendy and very comfortable. The location was great and the staff very really good. Yes, you needed to be patient, as they were very busy, but we were not in a rush. Were already booking again in summertime. Breakfast was really good- all we needed.

We were unable to book a table in the lobby in the evenings, as lots of local people popped in to have drinks. I feel they should proritise hotel guests. The other criticism- there was a note in the room about not requesting the room to be cleaned, but we didn’t see it until too late. I feel this should be mentioned when checking in.

Located in walking distance to the historic center it's a vibrant and beautiful and functional hotel. The restaurant is one of the best in town, and along with the bar has a lot of natural light from its glass ceiling. Also there is a rooftop bar where there is a nice view to the skyline of Gent. The room is very nice, minimalist decorated, with comfy bed and a nice Nespresso machine with complimentary capsules and bottled water in the fridge. It will be my first choice when I'll be back in Gent.

The location is amazing, everything is close by, cafes, shops, restaurants. Very quite and beautiful, the area is so alive. The parking is on the opposite side if the entrance, across a pizza restaurant, not very clear at first we had to ask the reception desk. Great lounge area, they have a restaurant and a very modern dining area but I didn’t try them. Looking pretty good though.

I didn’t like that you have to collect the robe and slippers from reception desk. They didn’t provide any water in the room.

Breakfast was various and delicious. Staff were nice, they have good customers service and welcome us with smiles. The rooftop bar is nice. Chill music with nice view.

Our first impressions about the room was just ok but Danny and Cleo managed to find a solution and we are really thankful for their kind attention. Thank you again. You guys made our weekend better!
