The location was great, very central and the street was not super busy during the night, so we did not have any problems to sleep. It was clean and had all facilities to cook. The bed was comfortable. The air-condition was a plus as we went on a hot weekend. Overall it was a good value for money

There was no mirror to see your full body, something simple that could be improved. I personally don't like when you have to climb stairs to go to your bed and I think this format of room would not work for older people. Also, the check in being possible only until 8pm can be a problem.

Room is big, lots of room for two people to be comfortable, with chairs and a table. There is a small kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, nespresso machine, even two hotplates. Location is central, so excellent. Bed was very comfortable.

There is quite a big step in the middle of the room, to get to bed from the rest of the room. An inconvenience for someone with mobility issues. We would have appreciated one change of towels for our 5 night stay. Check in time restriction very confusing, were not sure if we needed to get there during reception working hours even though we checked in online.

The property is located just a few minutes from the city center. The check-in process was automated and smooth and we were sent all needed information beforehand. The kitchenette was functional with a coffee machine, microwave, fridge, and all necessities. Bathroom was clean and spacious enough. There are a few grocery stores, restaurants, shops,and public transport stops nearby. We didn't experience any power outages and/or fire alarms mentioned in the previous comments. If shortly — it is worth staying there.

It would be nice to have some (maybe one-serving packs) of salt/sugar in the kitchen. Also, we would really appreciate instructions on how/where to throw away garbadge as we stayed for a few days and accumulated quite a few empty bottles/takeout boxes.

The location was really close to everything as well as public transport. The room was big with cooking facilities and a large bathroom equipped with cooking equipment and towels. There are a lot of stores nearby as well as key tourist attractions. The bed was comfortable.

The location was down a narrow street which was isolated and felt unsafe during the night. I had some difficulties checking in as the code they gave me did not work. However it was quickly resolved by calling them. The room was quite hot with no air con. The TV did not work. It seemed like the room was not properly cleaned. There were crumbs in the fridge and hair in the shower drain.

The room is spacious and has everything you need for a short (medium length) stay especially kitchen appliances. The bed is very comfy, and very clean. The sheets/pillows didn't smell of anything. The location is great, as it is in the middle of the city center and everything is super accessible. There is a bus that takes you from the train station right to the hotel.

The toilet had a bad smell.. it was clean, but the pipes might need a deeper clean, as the scent is not pleasant every time you're in there. The towels also had a bad scent (more like a humid scent). They too need a deep clean. I brought my own towel, so that wasn't an issue.

The room was nice and in a great location. The access was very easy and the staff responded fairly quickly. I could check in earlier than expected which was a huge bonus. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The surrouding area was quiet and seemed safe.

The walls seem to be made of paper. I could hear other guests chatting and watching TV in their rooms and if I understood their language, I would have known every word of their conversation. Also, no cutting board or a knife suitable to cut vegetables or meat which is strange given that there are pots, pans and you can cook in general.

I loved my stay at the Roxi Residence Ghent. The apartment had everything I needed for my 4-night stay. The facilities were modern, the room was clean and spacious and the bed was super comfy. The kitchen was equipped with all the necessary utilities so I could cook myself breakfasts every day. There are several nice grocery stores a couple of minutes away from the residence. The city center with all the attractions is 15 minutes away by foot. The tram stop is also right next to the residence.

I have zero complaints and would go back to stay at the residence next time I visit Ghent. Highly recommend it to everyone who likes a comfortable stay in the vicinity of historical attractions.

I especially liked the customer service. The hosts were friendly, and helpful and kept in touch via messages every step of the way (a few days before arrival, they checked how things were going during my stay, and again on the day before departure). I felt welcomed. I also loved that the check-in was automatic, meaning you could arrive any time. The accommodation was centrally located. Most of Ghent's top attractions and restaurants were only a 5minute walk away. The bed was incredibly comfortable.

Clean room. Excellent location. I really liked the equipment of the room. I also really liked the fact that there was also an armchair where one could comfortably read. The guests kept a quiet night, so I had no problems with sleeping.

Shower gel was missing. It is possible to cook, but I had to buy salt as well as oil. They could put a small amount of salt and oil in the room, so that a person does not have to buy 1 kg of salt and 1 liter of oil for 1-2 cooking.

This is a get-what-you-pay-for / no frills experience. The good news is that it is very clean, includes all the basic necessities and is on the edge of the old historic town. Automated check-in was fairly straight-forward.

A little expensive for what you get but Ghent is not an inexpensive place. It is a narrow room - it seems like it was (is?) a student dormitory at some point in the past. The bed was a little harder than expected and the walls are fairly thin. No shelving in the shower.
