The room is more spacious than newer hotels. There are also lots of drawers and storage space. The bed is large and very comfortable. Breakfast is quite good. The pastries were exceptional. The coffee needs improvement. I actually quite appreciate the digital mobile key - very handy and worked perfectly. Quiet neighbourhood, you'll sleep well. The major bus and tram station is about 350m away.

My room is situated on the top level of one of the buildings. There are no lifts. And it is two flights of stairs to get to it. If you have heavy luggage, it will be a bit of a challenge. Breakfast starts at 7:30 - quite late imho.

The room was a good size. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. There is a safe in the room with coffee making facilities. Breakfast was adequate. The hotel is about 1.5 km from the train station, so rather take a taxi when you get there. It is about 1.5 km from the Ghent town where all the sightseeing attractions are located.

Cleaning of rooms were done too late in the afternoon, so we had to request that they clean the room so that we can take a bit of a rest. We were told they had till 15.00 to clean the room. Breakfast was a bit limited.

Location very good, close to the city centre walking +/- 10min. close to public transport, bus around the corner to the main railwaystation. The room was spacious, and although on the street side, no noice at all (double windows) Breakfast was very good, lot of choice. Staff very friendly, efficient and helpful

The matrasses were too soft (that is of course very personal opinion)

I loved the unique character of this older family hotel. Exactly what I expected! The staff was fantastic and the room was big, spotless, and comfortable. I liked the environmental concern. It was a challenge for me because there is no lift, but the front desk helped me without any problem. I would have tried the breakfast if it had cost less

The location of the hotel is very close to the city center (a few minutes walk). The staff was very kind and friendly. The rooms were clean with comfortable beds. The room size is enough for a stay. The location also has the breakfast if you want. For sure we'll come back here!

Everything was ok, nothing to mention here.

Probably one of the best beds we've ever slept on. The front office staff (both a woman and a man) were very kind and nice. The possibility of leaving our bags at the reception after the check-out, so we can explore the city without them. Very generous breakfast.

The bathroom is a little bit small, but manageable.

It seems on the map that it’s far from the center but it’s about a 10 minutes walk to the main attractions. I had a foot injury and was still able to walk it. The room was huge and it was clean. I saw some bad comments, unsure what this is about. the hotel has a garden in the middle and it is split into two areas.

breakfast was a bit dull - egg, cheese, ham more or less. Reception was gone at about 6-7pm.

There was noise whenever someone walked past the door. To little space in bathroom, but for business trip and spending just evenings in the room, it was fine.

Location was ideal. Quick and direct transfer from Gent Sint Pieters station to the hotel by bus. Range of places to eat within easy walking distance from the hotel, to suit all tastes and budgets.

The receptionist was incredibly cheerful, friendly and had lots of suggestions that helped us navigate through the city and choose what to see, since our time was very limited. She gave us very useful maps and gave us flawless instructions. The room was clean, there was a terrace where we could smoke and it was quiet. Most of the lights were automatic and the automatic doors were also creepy and impressive.

The only objection we had was the fact that we didn’t have a remote control for the air conditioning and we couldn’t turn it on. We were there on a very cold day and it would have been useful, because the heater only worked sometimes. We could have used a few more power outlets, too.
