Everything was great. The front desk staff were extremely, professional, spoke fluent English,, friendly and helpful. Our room was not ready when we arrived, but they quickly arranged another room for us. As a first time to Ghent, they were most helpful providing us with a map, and giving us directions, including which modes of transport to take to the city's attractions. Great basement parking for 19 Euros per day.. Really great breakfast for sit down diners as well as those on the go to take away coffee and pastries. Spacious and clean rooms. Extremely comfortable bed and pillows, well functioning air conditioner and we experienced a very quiet and restful evening. Great location, as it is close to bus stops to and from the trams to commute to the central train station., for the city centre and other destinations .Holiday Inn Express & Suites. IIHG, is our preferred, as it always lives up to our expectations The 40 minute boat trip along the canal, is also a must do, as it is a quick history overview of Ghent and Belgium.

The hotel was easy to find and had free parking. The room was perfect for our family of 4 and was clean, spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast was a good selection and tasty. The bathroom particularly was luxurious and tea and coffee facilities were available in the kitchenette. Staff were very welcoming and helpful with good English. A great overnight stay.

It was a €23 taxi ride to the city centre, so a way out of town. However I was aware of this in advance and chose it because of the easy access from the motorway. There is currently building work happening but this did not cause any issue.

We booked a family room, it had a kitchenette equipped with a microwave, kettle, sink, dining table. The bed room had one double bed and lounge had one sofa bed. Very comfy for a family of 2 adults and 2 kids. The inclusive breakfast is a very wide spread of eggs, bacon, assorted croissants, toasts, cereals, hot/cold drinks, etc.

At the time of the visit, there is on-going construction work right next to the property. The digging of which has caused foul smelling inside the lobby area of the property. No fault of the property, but they were investigating.

This hotel is ideal if you are just passing through being about 2 hours from Calais/Eurotunnel and within easy access of the motorways to the rest of Belgium and Holland. If I was visiting Ghent then I'd choose one nearer the centre. Parking is available on site but costs €19 extra. The staff were very helpful and were cooking Pizzas and Panini in the evening for a quick meal.

Nothing really to criticise. The location is "industrial" but as said before, it's handy for the motorway.

My requests sent prior to our arrival wasn’t picked up or responded too but they did their best to help us either way. Our room was lovely, there were lots of students staying onsite and they were so well handled and mature. Food was above average and was really happy with the coffee take away. The staff were helpful and warm - couldn’t do enough for us. We would return!!

Nice hotel looking quite recently renovated still. Nice room, nice breakfast with good breakfast time over weekend, nice checkout policy. Very close to highway and ideal stop when you are tired from trip.

Late evening arrival, very tired but could not use elevator from parking (so walk around from garage to reception with luggage) and check-in process was for some reason very slow. But on bright side staff member was very apologetic.

Friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable, clean, quiet and modern. Breakfast was available from early to mid morning and was excellent. Suite was ideal for a young family, spacious and well equipped.

The location does require transport to and from the city centre so maybe not as convenient as a central stay for popping in and out during the day with young kids.

The hotel is just off the motorway and so for us, as an on route stay over, was perfectly located. The staff were very friendly and helpful both at check in and check out and we booked one of the family rooms with a double bed and sofa bed in an adjoining room. The beds were very comfortable and bathroom was well equipped and a lovely size. Breakfast was more than adequate and overall this was a great hotel and stay. Highly recommended!

we had a two bedroom suite, which functioned fantastic traveling as a family. The room seemed very modernized. Good beds, TVs with chrome cast, nespresso machine, good shower, good breakfast. Easy access to motorway

the hotel is situated a bit out of city center in a dull area

The hotel was amazing! Staff was very attentive, the rooms were super modern, clean and with a great space for a couple (the facilities were very nice). I could also bring my dog and he felt safe & sound there. The breakfast was super diverse and also delicious! Easy to commute to the city center of Ghent as well - truly recommend!
