One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in! Staff were wonderful and the room included everything you need. It was cleverly designed with a TV, that in our room, rotated, storage, a kitchenette, separate toilet and shower to the bathroom basin, comfortable furniture and even a small bench that we could both squeeze on with our computers while sitting on bar stools. It was spacious and modern, and after travelling for nearly 3 months, it was so good to have a couch! Loved the Ghent image behind the bed. Breakfast was included and had a wide variety of food and drinks. You can also buy a few essentials from their 'market' near reception. Not in the centre of town, but that didn't bother us. It was easy to order Ubers.

Room is spacious. TV faces the bed and can be turned towards the couch. Has oven and plates and cutlery. Toilets spacious and well equipped with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Breakfast is good. Easily accessible through public transport but only on weekdays. Bus stop right outside for bus into city but again only on weekdays. Weekend bus options available but 15min walk away. Staff are great.

Location is a little far from city center. Public bus doesn't operate on weekends but other options available just have to walk 15mins. Breakfast is lot of options but quite simple.

I genuinely enjoyed everything about this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile. Their hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable. The cleanliness of the hotel and the rooms truly stood out. The rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and felt fresh and comfortable every day. You can tell that great care is taken in ensuring high standards of hygiene throughout the property.

I liked everything about this hotel. It was the most hospitable, comfortable and high standard place in its class that I have ever experienced. I was a little unsure about it but had my expectations exceeded. The suite was spacious and totally fit for purpose for a degree of self sufficiency but with all the 5 star options if required. I have no hesitation in recommending the Residence Inn Marriott Ghent.

The surrounding construction site is unsightly but that is temporary. A visionary poster or model of what is to come might be helpful in explaining the reason for the temporary unsightliness. No complaints at all with the hotel.

The hotel is located outside of the city center, but close to the Ghelamco Arena, which is what I needed. The hotel has comfortable rooms, with its own kitchen and complementary wifi. The television has a chromecast, which in my case did not work which is pity. Hotel staff was friendly, although a bit inexperienced. Breakfast was included and good.

The charge for the parking is a bit much, especially since they are located in an industrial zone and there is more than ample room. 19€ per night is pure rip-off for what it is.

The 1 Bedroom Suite is very good designed, the kitchen is very convenient to use, there are a lot storage shelves in the room, which makes it very easy to use. The staff are all super nice!

Parking cost 19 euros / day is too expensive for this indurstrial zone. maybe 10-15 euros is a more reasonable price. the sofa bed is bad quality, it could be way better sofa bed. the breakfast is kind of simple, not much choice there, but it's ok.

Excellent breakfast with many options to choose from. Friendly and helpful staff. Great parking on site with plenty of space, costs 19 Euro per night. Big room, clean toilet. TV with plenty of options to choose from / french, british, german, american TV. And they all worked, which is pretty rare for a hotel.

Funny elevator voice, you'll know it when you hear it. People were laughing in the elevator when they reached their floor. Location is a bit far from the center. There's a bus stop near the hotel, but you have to change the bus once to get to the city center. Maybe get an uber/bolt. Nothing else negative to say about the hotel really.

The spacious room clearly showed that a lot thought has been given to the layout, the provision of storage space and kitchen equipment, turnable TV, power points, light switches, air conditioning/heating etc. The hotel also offers free coffee during the day. The windows provide excellent sound proofing - the motorway and the industries in the close vicinity could not be heard. Equally transportation links by bus and car were very convenient. Parking was ample.

The breakfast was ok, had some selection but all the same appeared rather limited. The space in the breakfast area was a little insufficient, if you wanted to eat in a relaxed, leisurely manner, then you had to go early. Parking is expensive (19€/night, although there is a 50% discount for long stays), the parking bays are narrow, so that the risk of your vehicle being damaged by the door of another vehicle is high. We could not work out why there was no toilet brush provided in the room. The toilet pedestal and the otherwise comfortable bed were a bit on the high side. The toilet paper provided was one-ply - this somehow shows the lack of awareness of the diversity of individual hygienic needs.

Friendly staff that changed my room as there was a lot of noise early morning because of building site next door. Great breakfast selection!

Parking was very small and when arriving late, no space anymore despite paying for it! Internet wasn’t the greatest quality and dropped out regularly.

Everything was just perfect! But the bed was very high and for my mum it was rather difficult to replace me from the wheelchair to the bed. It was just a minor disappointment, all the rest was just wonderful! Thank you very much!!!

As I said the bed was a bit high for us. I am a wheelchair user so the level of the bed is very important for me to be replaced comfortably from the wheelchair to the bed. Anyway, we coped with it but it would have been bette if it had been lower.r
