I’ve stayed here before, and I will definitely come back again! It’s not new, but it’s very clean and well-maintained. The rooms have everything you need—kettle, safe, mini-fridge, tea, coffee, cookies, and toiletries. The beds are comfortable, and I was happy to see that the hotel has started upgrading them. Last night, I slept on a brand-new bed, and it was really comfortable. Breakfast here is amazing—you won’t find a better deal for 15 euros on the Belgian coast. Fresh croissants, pastries, pancakes, fried eggs with bacon or sausages, cheeses, cold cuts, vegetables, fruits, and yogurts—everything is fresh and delicious. The staff is friendly and hardworking. A lovely lady serves breakfast with a smile. The receptionist is friendly too, she has helped me several times, calling taxis in the morning and quickly answering any questions I had.

Maybe there may be some noise from the street, but it is not the hotel's fault.

Very friendly hosts, quick to respond to questions asked through whatsapp. Room was super clean, together with bathroom. Smart TV was a nice addition if one wants to watch YouTube rather than landline tv stations in foreign language. Breakfast was easy to book in the morning (we didn't decide for one from the get go) and pay for, many options to choose from too, but I wish we went earlier to have more of the warm food. Free 24/7 parking on the other side of the street was another bonus after long travel.

Windows were not sound proof enough to block the noises from outside, but luckily the morning traffic was not bad. Road renovations made it awkward to drive on the street the hotel is at but we managed.

As a seasoned traveler all my expectations in this hotel were exceeded. The breakfast is more than complete and rivals with a lot of 4 star accomodations. Moreover, Irina, a very nice and hard working, kind-hearted lady made sure that during my 16 day stay there was some variation regurlarly. Lars in the reception makes every traveler feel welcome and runs the place as if it was his own. Irina and Lars together are really the A-team. If you travel by car, parking is free right outside the door on the street. It is really unbeatable value for the price!

There are not too many places around for dining. There's a pizzeria a few houses next to the hotel (has nothing to do with the hotel) but my personal experience there was very negative. It was rather grimy there and I even got sick the next day. Better avoid this place.

Extremely helpful and efficient contact via whatsapp. I am always very wary of hotels which do not have a reception but I need not have worried. All my queries were answered immediately and they even managed to allow me to check in two hours earlier . Likewise my business invoice arrived via email as soon as I requested it. Bed was extremely comfortable , fridge in room too. Room was lovely and warm at night and in morning. Kettle provided along with tea and coffee selection. The TV system with a myriad of international channels was brilliant and easy to use. Breakfast was very good. It catered for all tastes , was plentiful, and of good quality. Coffee also good. I would definately stay here again.

There was nothing to dislike about this hotel.

The hotel staff were exceptional in their service from allowing me to check-in sooner than originally agreed to asking if I remembered to move my car, making sure I was aware the sun was hot despite the wind, messaging me to see if I needed clean towels and enabling a later checkout. I really appreciate 🙏🏽 thankyou Elina. The room was wonderful, spacious, clean, peaceful and in general the hotel is well looked after with beautiful aromas as you walk in and in the room. Loved my stay, thankyou 💕

Another perfect stay in this nice and well kept hotel with comfortable rooms and bathrooms. The hotel is conveniently located at walking distance from the beach and from restaurants or shops. A big (free) parking lot right in front. The hotel managers are very responsive and the staff very friendly. The extensive breakfast buffet beats the choices of many upperclass hotels. To be recommended!

Nothing, everything was just perfect

Excellent experience. I was a bit doubtful of checking into a hotel without staff on site. However, very good communication from Owner and smooth check-in to obtain key via PIN-accessed key box. Very clean and comfortable room. Bonus is free parking across the road. Excellent breakfast. Hotel Monaco will be my preference for any future stays in Zeebrugge.

Here to pick up my car from the industrial port, shipped from the USA, I never expected this bright, breezy, newly renovated, spotlessly clean, family-run hotel that is everything we once enjoyed from the good old days of 3-star pensions. Friendly (and effortlessly multi-lingual) check-in; flexible and understanding about the uncertainties of the arrivals/offloading/customs clearance process. The morning breakfast buffet is typical of small hotels all over Europe, with a broad selection of breads, cold cuts, cheeses, fresh fruit and veg, bacon and eggs -- and even gravlachs! The 24/7 self-service coffee/espresso/hot chocolate and tea selection was a godsend. Just a minute walk from the strand, with miles of walking paths through the nature reserves and along the promenade; fast, easy tram/rail connections from/to Bruges and all along the seafront; laundromat, shop, and takeaways right next door: the sound of wind and surf from my wide-open windows; comfortable chairs inside and out to settle into with a good book; what's not to love?

Leaving! I'd happily spend a month here if I could!

All the little details were taken care of. Like the possibility to use the microwave (baby bottle) or the free tea and coffee. There was also the possibility to use a football or beach sport accessories that they have at the hotel to bring to the nearby beach (10 min. walk), free of charge. The staff were also very friendly and helped us when needed! Free parking across the street.

Nothing to be honest.

The hotel was pleasant, with excellent service! The woman at the reception desk is very kind and friendly, and she responds quite quickly via WhatsApp if you need anything. There is tea in the room, and everything was clean. The location is also right next to the beach, perfect for enjoying some peace and the sea! Highly recommended!
