Stayed in the dorm/hostel room. It appears to be brand new (as of August 2024). The beds are extremely comfortable (not just for a hostel but in general) and there are curtains around each bed, which sold it for me! No kitchen, but fridge in the room, microwave and toaster in the lobby. Aircon is only on 7pm to 10am. Each bunk has an outlet, light, and a safe box. The sheets and pillows are cozy. The room gets cold at night but the front desk has blankets available. I also noticed my bed didn't have a board underneath so after alerting the desk about it, they got right on it. The staff is very nice and happy to help. The room is exceptionally clean. Prime location. It is also quiet, tucked away from the main street and I slept like a baby. Would stay here again!

There is no kitchen, but there is a fridge in the room, microwave and toaster in the lobby. Water pressure was not the best and one of the bathroom showers trickled (the other one was better). Could use a new shower head. Would be nice if there were bikes available to use! Front door slams at night, would recommend installing a stopper.

Great location! A short walk to the boat and everywhere. The dumplings made by the old Chinese couple at panda across the street were amazing. Went there 3 times. Free water and coffee in reception. Also a microwave. Very nice staff. Room big and comfortable. Nothing fancy but had everything we needed. Don't miss the iguana reef hotel beach. I swam there every day. Paradise

When you make a reservation they send you a form, which is not PDF, which has to be filled out within 24 hours or they cancel the reservation. I explained that I was at Carnaval in Brazil and it was too complicated and I would do it after Carnaval. They insisted so I canceled the reservation and booked an Airbnb. Later we changed our dates and the Airbnb was no longer available so I booked the hotel again. I am not very tech savvy (68 years old) but figured out after lots of trial and error how to convert the form and fill it out. I travel half the year and stay in so many hotels and in all my years of traveling I have never been asked to do this. So unnecessary and inconvenient

The bed was really large and the AC worked well, which is super needed in Caye Caulker. The room was clean. The location is really good, the island is not so big so you can walk from the hotel to most of the attractions, and from and to the ferry as well.

We could hear all the noise from the street, which was a bit annoying in the morning, even thought we had ear plugs. The hotel requested for a form to fill and send back before arriving, in order to complete the reservation, which was a bit inconvenient.

Great location close to the ferry and a short walk to the split. Very comfy bed! Coffee available in the morning and water available for free. Provided specific towels for use on the beach which was great. Room a bit tired but had everything you need.

The hotel requested an additional form to be sent to confirm the booking, which was a pain as we didn't have easy access to a printer and it was not editable. Lots of signs and rules about towel deposits, seems like they have had a lot of towel thieves previously.

We really enjoyed our staff. The hotel is close to shops, restaurants and bars but not too close that they keep you up at night. Don't get freaked out by the form they ask you to fill in before you arrive, it's just a deposit in case you break anything. I felt a bit weird about giving my card details on the form, its not a scam I promise. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming. We were even able to check in early which was a plus. Make sure you grab the tea/coffee early to avoid disappointment as when it's gone it's gone. The free filter water was a bonus too.

Nothing, all good.

The hotel is centrally located on the island, in a side street of the "main street" close to the ferry arrival. The (large) rooms and the bathroom are dated, but considering their age they are clean and suitable for a (short) stay. The reception (and front door) closes at the end of the afternoon. However, the access code on the front door works fine. We stayed in a room without a balcony, at the rear. At the end of the side street where the hotel is located is the power station for the island. We heard nothing of this at the rear. In summary, a great place considering the price.

The downside was the air conditioning, which could only be set to one setting and was quite noisy. The sink tap had instructions for use; do not turn but pull towards you (or push away).

Loved the laundry onsite. Complimentary water. Clean rooms, air conditioning worked great. Location with store across the street was handy. Lots of seating available. Rooms were nice and quiet and bed was very comfortable. Staff was very friendly.

Coffee was not the greatest, and needed milk and was always out. But hard to complain when it's free. However, I would have rathered paid an extra couple bucks a night to have hot coffee in the morning.

The king room was spacious and comfortable. The bed was perfect, the shower was hot, wifi was fast. Every staff member was wonderful to interact with. Bonus were the small things like free water, coffee and beach towels. There is a great supermarket across the street.

The location is very close to the power plant. The plant is noisy. For me, it was like a white noise machine and I think it helped me sleep better. Some may not like it though.

Before I even got there, the communication was perfect. I tend to always ask a lot of questions at times, but they answered all instantly. When I got to the room, they had turned on the air conditioner, so it was awesome entertaining. The beds were super soft and comfortable. We also had our own private balcony.

The hot water was not really hot, and the shower filled up fast and went down slowly. This made us have to take breaks between showers to prevent the water from overflowing into the bathroom. I'm not sure if it was only my room

The location was great. No nearby loud bars, etc. But it was central and close to ATM, stores, bakery, smoothie shop, fry jack shop, etc. The people we nice, friendly and helpful. They cleaned the room daily.

The room wasn't modern but that was OK with me.
