The beach and pool area were amazing - it is the most quiet and peaceful resort on that side of the island and close to the town of San Pedro. I'm sure you could find the same outside of town, but in town it's the best. The restaurant was very good and prices were fair at the resort compared to all the other places on the island. The room was big and clean and had two double beds. the cleaners came every day and made the room beautifully. We did the Blue Hole with Ramon's Diving and we had a great day also. The massage at the spa was exceptional! Check in and check out was sooo smooth and they had a free shuttle to the local airport. They also booked a flight off the island for us. That was amazing!

No water in rooms or lobby, you had to go to the hotel bar for water! We ended up buying a big office style water container with 5 gallons. Very few toilets in the main pool area. Some of the young staff were grumpy at the Tropic-als bar and pool. Reception staff were amazing and so were the restaurant staff.

The location for Ramon's is great. It's not too far from the port where you disembark from the ferry and it's within walking distance of the main street in San Pedro. The room was clean, well maintained and made you feel like you were on vacation. The view of the ocean from the room was spectacular and the coup de gras of the hammocks on the beach topped it off.

The internet service away from the main office was spotty at best. I had to ask the staff, who graciously accommodated me, to use their business room in order to attend an important meeting. This is my only critique.

Very well kept, comfortable laid back atmosphere. A/C worked great, all the staff is very polite and helpful. Rented a golf cart for 4 days and a private boat hands down best thing we did. Will com back

Depends on what you come for, this is a diving, fishing and snorkeling based resort. If you’re more into a party scene pick another place.

We enjoyed staying across the lane from the main hotel. Steve and Becky's accommodation was excellent. The property had it's own little pool and the garden was fantastic! Such a nice atmosphere to come home to after being on the beach or walking around town. Service was excellent. Location was so central but still remarkable quiet.

San Pedro has built up a lot in recent years. There are so many golf carts now, so the road just outside the door. But once you step inside the gate you are in a an oasis of paradise.

The staff was absolutely phenomenal and contributed highly to the entire experience. The food was amazing and very fairly priced. We needed for nothing and felt very accommodated and taken care of for the entire duration of our stay.

My husband and I can't think of anything that would have made this trip any better.

Excellent place, very near to the San Pedro Airport and accessible easily. Hotel staffs are very friendly and very attentive. My family enjoyed everything - the pool, the ocean view, the resort area and the pineapple restaurant. Being an Indian, Ramon resort is very near to a very good indian eating outlet oh. Bombai

It was within walking distance or a short ride to many restaurants. Along with a grocery store down the block.

They only serve beer and wine, no liquor. They do make a bunch of smoothies that you can add the rum to.

I liked literally everything about Romans Village. The employees are helpful, kind and professional. The location is centrally located. Site is well maintained.

Incredible oasis in San Pedro. Cannot recommend enough! The cleanliness, tranquility, service and amenities were above expectations, so we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommend!

The location, layout and ambiance can't be beat. Right on the beach, dive shop on the dock, area to snorkel and central location. The cabin was facing the water with an outstanding view. Not crowded, yet close to restaurants and airport. Really it felt very secluded.

Perhaps it is something with the Caye but the service from the staff was a bit off. Except for the maid who was very friendly and helpful. The reception staff - seemed a bit distracted and disinterested. They did their job but no more. Pineapple's wait staff was ok - one gentleman was great - knew facts about all states. Very friendly. Some others just not very motivated. But you can't beat the location and the facility - so it equals out. Food was good.
