The staff was excellent, as was the breakfast; four other meals I took in the hotel were also good. Although the hotel looks tired, is was clean enough, both the common areas and my room. The electrical light in the room was perfect for reading in bed. The location is wonderful for a visit of Belo Horizonte and its surroundings.

My room had no views at all, to the point I kept the courtain closed all the time in order to hide the ugly yard, but there are other rooms with better views. There are some stairs to reach the hotel from the street, and also to reach the dinning room from the reception area - they can be an issue for people with mobility problems.

Without doubt the location is superb if you are looking for a hotel in the praça 7 area. The view on the São José church is spectacular. Comfortable bed, large shower with good water flow. Breakfast has wide variety and sufficiently fresh, although I have seen better in Brazil. WiFi worked.without problems. Parking in a nearby car park is convenient and safe. On the day of departure luggage can be stored at the reception.

Nothing really. if I have to mention something it is the breakfast room. The furniture is worn out, which negatively impacts the experience.

They had a problem with their cable company so we had no TV to watch for the whole 5 days I was there also there’s 3 elevators but on my last 2 days only 1 was working, it was a nightmare it took me 22 minutes to come down with my luggage on check out day.

The location is excellent. Delicious meals from the restaurant. Nice to stay relaxing on the top roof.

It took 6 days to change the bed clothes. Service room some days were done too later. I had to find a staff to ask for toilet paper.

Big, airy room (we booked a triple), spotlessly clean with comfortable beds. Good location - very close to the bus station, ideal for day trips. Excellent value for money. Older style hotel retaining some original features eg lovely parquet floors

The staff were caring , the breakfast had delicious chocolate and guava croissants, the location was amazing and the price was fair. They even solved a last minute issue that I had concerning bringing my child along.

Poor communication from staff about a ridiculous law that they claim exists that made my Brazilian girlfriend provide ID even though the booking was in my name, and they never said anything before I arrived.

Great location by the church, the central market and a shopping mall. Good room service for food.

Slightly noisy (windows not double glazed). Parking is not directly below / no driver (motorista) service. Gym equipment rather tired (running machines didn't seem to work).

Great sized room with fantastic view of the city. Excellent breakfast. Rooftop pool was a bonus, open till 22:00 and amazing views. Great location.
