The location is unbeatable. Close to all major areas and just around the corner of the bus stop that takes you to and from the airport. It is still quite a comfortable place, although the clientele has changed quite a bit, if you know what I mean. I've been staying there for the past 20 years, and it's maintained its shape quite well, all things considered.

The fact that there are no porters, only 2 front desk attendants, no one to help you with your luggage, and considering that I had 3 large ones and a carry-on, I was in desperate need of help. Also, It is still cleaner than most, but you can see that the shower needs to be upgraded. The breakfast starts at 6:30 am but the first bus to the airport leaves at 6:00 am so, you won't get any that morning. That should be taken into consideration by the hotel. All in all, it is still a very good place to stay.

After travelling for 2 months and 2 states, I really enjoyed staying at BH Plaza for, it's location, cleanness, security, friendly staff, nice breakfast, easy airport transfer, and plus.

Very busy roads and schools nearby that can be a bit noisy, depending on the side and level of your room in the hotel.

The staff was excellent, going out of their way to make my stay as good as it could be. The shower and the breakfast were great. I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is also in a great location.

My stay was great. If I could suggest something, it would be room service. They have an amazing breakfast in place so they should be able to provide simple snacks like fruits, tea or coffee, and biscuits throughout the day.

I just stayed here again (have stayed multiple times) for 10 days with Carnaval going on for my final 3 days. I can't say enough about how much I enjoy staying at BH. Plaza! The rooms are incredibly large, larger than most all rooms you will find in Brazil, especially at the price point. Large bathrooms with great water pressure in the shower...also a rarity in many hotels you may find in Brazil. The bed was very comfortable and king size too! The breakfast is awesome! The staff in the breakfast area are always very nice and do everything they can to make your breakfast great. The restaurant at the bottom of the hotel has some delicious food as well. The prices are more than fair, and again, staff are super friendly! The staff at the reception are what really impress me at this property. All of them are great! Thiago, Giuliano and the crew go out of their way to help you out with whatever you need...they are great and also speak some English, which can be helpful for people that are from other countries. Thallis was the only person I still knew from previous trips and it was great to see him! Thallis goes ABOVE and BEYOND the call of duty at his job! He speaks fluent English and always has a smile on his face. Thallis was so helpful for me, he would walk outside and really make sure you knew where to go when he would give directions...he really cares about the customers, and it shows! He always asked if there was anything I needed and I really appreciated this. I wish I could hire Thallis here in the USA because he's exactly what any manager looks for to provide a superior service for customers, and make him a manager too! I hope on the next trip to BH. I find Thallis in a management roll for the hotel, he is exactly what you want representing your brand. Your reception would be in very good hands with his leading it. Thank you, Thallis! The breakfast is great, but you really need to rotate the items we have more regularly. In 10 days I only saw bacon 1 time. I only missed breakfast once. You need to change up all the bread with stuff inside it. Maybe some mortadella and ham...possibly some turkey for making sandwiches. Also, foreigners (at least from EUA) would like some mayonnaise for the presunto or ham and cheese on paozinho. Some sausage and eggs would be a nice change, maybe french toast? Just really need to diversify the breakfast food more. Love the granola with fruit...papaya was delicious!

This hotel was very comfortable and clean. The room was well appointed and spacious. The staff was professional and pleasant. The location of the hotel is excellent, walking distance to some highlights of the city. Breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended to any travelers.

The staff was very pleasant, the room was large, comfortable. The hotel has washing machines, with dryer functionality, very useful after a long trip.

Breakfast was OK, but a bit too "standard". It is also difficult to get prepared beverages, like juices, not loaded with sugar, as this suits the Brazilian taste.

Room was comfortable, clean, adn quiet.

The shower head needs to be clean it was side splashing water. The position of the AC blows air direct to the bed which makes us feel cold and dry that we had to turn it off in the middle of the night, and to turn it back on in the morning to cool the room.

I like the breakfast, location and the beds. The blinds were awesome, completely dark as I like to sleep.

When I asked for an extra blanket the guy wasn't ready to help. I had to insist to get it. I had an extra kid and brought a travel mattress once the hotel couldn't make arrangements on my reservation which I was fine with and was able to sort things out. The pool is inside but not heated, we couldn't use it.

Very large and confortable room, good breakfast. Very close to the airport bus terminal and very central.

Nice comfortable room in good size with comfortable bed. Great location for walking the city center and surrounding bairros (Liberdade and Savassi and Mercado Central), very next to the Airport Shuttle Bus (Conexão Aeroporto).

Poor Breakfast, lack of cold and hot options, no yogurt, no hot Brazilian potatoes, no caucus, no fruit salad, and small sitting area, which does not accommodate all customers comfortably and in time due. Swimming pool a joke, more like a hot tub, but cold. External garden not comfortable.
