Staying at Calamar Flats Paraty was an absolute delight! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality by our incredible host, Roberto. The apartment itself was impeccable - spotlessly clean, spacious, and equipped with modern amenities that made our stay feel like a luxurious retreat. The pool was a refreshing oasis, perfect for cooling off in the Brazilian heat, and the comfortable beds ensured we had restful nights of sleep. The location was ideal - nestled in a peaceful area yet still close to the beach, charming bars, and a convenient supermarket. Roberto's attentiveness to our needs and his invaluable recommendations for local beaches and excursions truly enhanced our experience, making us feel like cherished members of the family. Without a doubt, Calamar Flats Paraty deserves a glowing 5-star rating!

The room is great. Clean and cozy. I love the kitchen and we can make food we want. I feel a stay of 3 nights is quite enough to explore Paraty. If u r a nature lover please visit the ecological park----it is awesome!

The location is close to the beach side. However, it is sort of away from the main attraction (historical downtown). If you drive by yourself then it should not be a problem. We walked to the downtown everyday to meet our friends and explore the place (20 min). It is doable but I could imagine to some people they may less prefer this option.

Breakfast is not typically offered at this Flats property. But management invited us to have breakfast at a nearby inn (pousada) which they own and operate. This was a lovely gesture.

IMPORTANT: There should be a hand railing installed at the pool area to avoid potential dangerous falls.

Beautiful clean and cosy apartment with everything we could possibly need. A beautiful sea view in a gentle, pretty area away from the tourist bustle. However it was an easy 10 minute drive to see the sights of Paraty. The host was excellent and very responsive.

Nicely decorated flats, very clean, great host. Easy check-in and check-out. There is a pool on the property and air conditioning, which is really useful. The kitchen is fully functioning for making small meals. The property feels very safe. Nice view and a little balcony.

The water pressure is a bit low. If the neighbors are loud, you hear it well, but the host tries to place people at opposite ends, so it's not much of a problem.

Fabulous host. Very responsive. She gave us really good suggestions about where to eat, etc. Please for super clean and compact. Bathroom was very small, so if you have a big person, it will be hard.

Without a car, we were a little on the outskirts of everything. Everything was a pretty long walk. It was quiet, though, and a very pretty view from our unit number five. The beach was not very nice in front of our building.

The pool is amazing, great location and facilities. Easy check-in/check-out and the host was superb. Really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again.

Wifi can be a little bit unstable (normally it works great but the internet connection in Paraty is not reliable) I missed an important meeting but I cannot blame the property itself. There's a router/access point in each room that gives you high signal quality but the internet connection is shared between other flats, which makes it a bit unstable when the property is full (nothing major if you're not travelling for work).

This is a brand new very well maintained accommodation and probably the best one to stay in if you’re visiting Paraty. The host does everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The towels and bedlinnen are fresh and everything is extremely clean.

The room was great the bed comfortable the kitchen well equipped. The location was secure and it was quiet

It was a bit far from the old town 25 minute walk but the benefit is it’s quiet

This is a lovely place in an ideal location on the edge of town. Roberto the owner was very kind and very easy to get in touch with via whatsapp. The apartment is beautiful and well equipped and maintained. There is a small pool there which is great to cool off in. We loved sitting on the balcony looking at the lovely view of the sea. It really is a place in paradise!

The only thing we didn't like was leaving. We could have stayed there for a long time!
