Everything actually worked which is rare to find in state of RJ. But the host helped with the restaurants, finding a massage and arranging a boat trip made for more than a pleasant stay.

I can’t complain about the property. There are some places next with barking dogs at night but nothing that can be done about that.

We were supposed to spend one night at Pousada Pontal Gardens and go to Angra but we loved the place so much that we decided to stay one more night. We got a bigger room than we booked and a very warm welcome. Jean also recommended to us the best restaurants in Paraty and helped with planning a boat trip. When we needed some advice or help, he was always there. The location was perfect, close to the center and marina but at the same time not noisy and full of tourists. The rooms, gardens and all the interior is designed with an incredible taste and has a lot of charm. Everything was planned here with a huge attention to detail and very well thought through. Definitely 10/10 in all aspects!

A small inn in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of the historical center and the beach. The staff was caring, friendly and attentive. Marcos gave us excellent restaurant recommendations. Go for a meal at Restaurante Caminho Do Ouro. One of the best meals we had in Brazil!

A wonderful place to stay. The location is great. We slept very well here, The bed was very comfy and it was very quiet. Breakfast was excellent and accompanied by visits from marmosets some days. Marcus and the staff are charming and extremely helpful. I highly recommend Pontal Gardens.

Beautiful pousada, comfortable and typical. Well-maintained with local products and arts. Super friendly staff. Perfect location, safe and central. No need of a car while staying there. Very recommended for your stay in Paraty!

We loved our stay here! Marcus and Gean were extremely welcoming, helpful and wanted to ensure we had a great time. The hotel was very pretty, quaint and clean. Would definitely stay recommend to any couples or friends who are visiting Paraty! Location was great, just a short walk to town.

We loved our stay! The staff were extremely attentive & helpful with everything from serving a delicious home made breakfast in the mornings to helping us book activities & recommending great bars & restaurants. They made us feel very at home at all times & we’d absolutely recommend staying here.
