The breakfast was great, and the people working there were some of the best, especially a few folks I would name here: Gabriela, Amanda, Rui, Geovan, Bianca, Monique, and Carlos. On top of this, the people at the reception were also great, especially Laura, Daniel, Hugo and Mayra. I could tell stories about each of them during my stay there, such a pleasure staff. The hotel location is good if you have a car or are ok to take Ubers every where. I rent a car and was able to leave in front of the hotel for free, but they also have a valet that could park for you. It's close from the Barra da Tijuca beach, but not too close you could walk. There is a BRT station right in front but it's a bit scary to get there specially at night, no one is around.

I would like to have free water, I had to fill my bottle every day on the gym or on the breakfast. The pool and the gym was close too early, by 8PM.

Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Kudos to Auguste at the Bistro and Stephanie who assisted with the check in. And all the restaurant staff. Breakfast was hearty. Appreciated the hot station, and the fresh fruit selection. Spacious living area as we had the one bedroom suite.

Took much longer to get into town or the nearby shopping area than expected. Traffic is bad. And the hotel is located around a bend so the drivers all need to do a separate turn around to get to and from the hotel. Room was a little dusty. No bedroom slippers.

Friendly staff, restaurant food & breakfast

Very very long wait at the check in. The room was not ready even at 4:30pm. They did offer coffee and croissants while we had to wait. For such a large hotel they should have more reception staff.

Facilities were pretty (except the pool, very small for the size if the hotel) and food was great and with good variety

Check in was not as smooth as I expected it to be, but the rest of the stay was nice

Wonderful staff and very good customer services around the restaurant and front office area. Very helpful and supportive for every guest .. those two guys are amazing supportive staff .

Very remote area away from the center and we were staying at residence building which is very old furniture and kitchenette. Housekeeping must improve the services

The staff were always welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious, with enough expected amenities. The breakfast was very diverse, with fresh materials, nice collection and changes day over day.

The sound isolation from the adjacent rooms was terrible. This definitely affected the comfort. The bed was not as comfy as expected from a Marriot.

COMFORT. CLEAN. GREAT BREAKFAST. NICE GYM AND SAUNA. THE BEST HOTEL IN THIS AREA. THIS WAS MY FOURTH VISIT.

CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT TIME TAKES FOREVER.

Staff was really friendly and helpful, the bed and pillows are super comfy, the pool area is lovely.

The restaurant is not particularly good for dinner although breakfast was nice with plenty of options

Otherwise fit the description and stars, even the staff spoke English ;)

everything was fine except for the wifi (it took 10-20 minutes to connect each time). And the ATM was not working.

Been returning to this property again and again when need to spend time in Rio. Clean and comfortable with a great staff.
