Very friendly personnel. Great breakfast with the view to the Copacabana beach. Clean rooms. Stylish interior of the common area (entrance, restaurant, etc). Convenient location next to the beach with summer sunrise side, bike rental, walking distance to Ipanema.

Facilities are a little bit outdated (shower, toilet). No complimentary water in the room. Swimming pool and rooftop bar area is small but that's to be expected from such a small hotel.

The location, room, staff, and breakfast were all great. Our room was very spacious and comfortable and had a nice view of the beach from the corner window. The pool area was lovely but a bit small, so at certain times of the day felt a little crowded. But for the price it was a very good value. Must reiterate that breakfast and the team working breakfast were great!

I was a little surprised at the lack of small details/amenities for a 4 star hotel. For example, there was only 1 towel per person in the room along with a bath mat and one hand towel for the sink (no small hand or face towels to be used by individuals and no bath robe). We were charged even for a small nespresso coffee in the room which I would expect a 4 star hotel to include as complimentary- not even bottled water was free. Felt a little like being nickled and dimed but the price was lower than most other 4 star hotels in the area so perhaps that’s where they make up for it.

This is my second time to visit Copacabana and our stay in Ritz make it very special this time. Thanks to the free upgrade from booking.com that we got an amazing room with the floor and view requested has been accommodated. We are also celebrating our Anniversary and they gave us a good treat with letter on it. The front desk team are very friendly, and specially mentioned to Shirley who is very sweet and kind. Our hskp also did a great job in cleaning the room.

This place also have a nice rooftop with pool, unfortunately I forgot my Havaianas but we're able to come back and get them, tho the customized pins were missing :(

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Ritz Copacabana, and I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience. The hotel is impeccably clean, with spacious and well-maintained rooms. The rooftop is a particular highlight, offering a fantastic pool and stunning views of Copacabana Beach. The staff is exceptional, from the housekeeping team to the front desk personnel. A special mention goes to Victor, whose professionalism and excellent command of English made a significant difference in our stay. He was not only helpful and attentive but also went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Overall, the Ritz Copacabana exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for luxury, excellent service, and a memorable stay in Rio.

I got a corner room on the 13th floor and it was quite pleasant. The furniture is brand new, the WiFi works well, the view from the corner window was nice. The bathroom is small and part of it (the washbasin) is in the room. But that was not a problem for me. The breakfast is good and the view from the restaurant is quite nice. The rooftop pool is quite small - but that’s normal given the the size of the building. The hotel is in a perpendicular street with respect to the beach - good location with a bike sharing station right outside and a large supermarket 5 minutes away on feet. Staff was very nice and helpful.

The room soundproofing could be a bit better. Also, the windows open much more than one would expect given the high floor.

The breakfast was amazing. A nice selection of hot and cold food available with great service and awesome views from the restaurant on the 15th floor. We also managed to get an early check in and a late check out and a free taxi from the airport (Hi Thiago!!)

The TV’s could have had some upgrades. Smart TV’s will be better for international travellers as I could only access Brazilian TV stations. Options for streaming services and some international news channels would of been nice 👍

The bartender / waiter at the bar/restaurant hardly knew how to make cocktails. We also had dinner there and it was a disaster - we waited a lot to order and to get our food (I even got a false dish). He was also very unfriendly. The shower is also absurd - it sprinkles water everywhere and taking a shower is a challenge. Our friends also got a much smaller room than ours even though I booked the same two rooms from my account.

Location to the beach, nice views,very helpful staff especially Victor 👍 . Excellent breakfast.The rooftop terrace bar staff were great especially William 👍

The photos on the booking site are a little exaggerated regarding the size of the pool and the terrace area as in reality it's relatively small.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Ritz Copacabana Hotel, and I can’t recommend it enough! The location is really good, the facilities are excellent, and the entire staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. I would especially like to highlight Victor from the reception—he was exceptional! From the moment I arrived, he greeted me with a warm smile and provided outstanding service throughout my stay.

Confortable bed and good breakfast with a view!

There was a man at the reception who was awful to us - we only dealt with him at the check out but he was very rude and didn't take care of my bags left at the reception. The rest of the staff was very helpful and very kind to us. Also the shower isn't great - there is only the rainfall option no shower head which isn't adapted if you don't want to wet your hair or shower your feet only etc...
