The staff is friendly and helpful. There was never a shortage of anything at breakfast, everything was fresh and always replenished. The hotel is in the immediate vicinity of the beach. They provide luggage storage service for free.

The rooms are very outdated, they should invest in changing the mattresses and air conditioning. The air conditioner is very loud, as if the compressor is running. Also, the air circulation in the room is not good, which is why the laundry and towels do not dry for days but retain moisture. If you are on the higher floors, you can hear the motor from the Pool Filtration.

Everything was perfect, very varied breakfast with mango, papaya, pineapple, pastry, even guava freshes. Near to the Copacabana beach, a supermarket is on hand, nice bars. The hotel provide you with free beach chairs.

We hereby would like to thank Mirla, Valeria, Vera Francisco, Carla, Egidio and especially Marcos for their friendly service. The hotel is located in a good location only 5 min walking distance from Copacabana beach. There are a lot of restaurants and shops in the neighbourhood. The breakfast is good and extensive. The beds are comfortable. Free luggage storage is also available if needed.

The airconditioning in the room is a little bit old and noisy. Also the quality of the cleaning of the rooms really despends of the cleaner; during our first stay we regurarly found hairs and dust on the ground. However during our second stay two weeks later the cleaning was done well.

i don't like that you can only pay with credit card (not debit card!), that you cannot have an option with partial cash on arrival. i don't like that you cannot have the option "do not disturb" and everyday the cleaning staff changes your towels etc - it is not needed. please have a "do not disturb" option. i don't like the fixed showers - but i think this is the rule in Rio :(

We arrived at 08.00 am and were unable to check in until 14.00. We knew this at the time of booking but there was no courtesy room or offer of any refreshments.

I asked for the broken hairdryer to be switched right after arrival. it wasn't switched until I left. but that's minor. I had my own with me.

The location was perfect. Breakfast and breakfast staff great. They offered nice extra’s like bike hire and beach chair hire

They were re surfacing the road outside our room so it was really noisy for 2 nights (but not the hotels fault)
