The staff was very friendly and the Breakfast had many options. It’s very close to the metro station. There are a bunch of laundromats really nearby, so very convenient for those who are in the city for a while.

I must say that overall it was a great stay and I didn’t have anything that was too disturbing. Room cleaning might arrive during the afternoon. Design/furniture felt a bit old. In my past stays at ibis (in other countries) usually there’s a distinction between “ibis style” and “ibis budget” in terms of the service and the quality of the rooms. With this hotel, it felt a bit like it was in the “budget” category.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Ibis Hotel in Copacabana, and I must say that Karlos truly made my experience unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, his professionalism and attentiveness were evident. He went above and beyond to ensure that every detail of my stay was perfect. Breakfast is a point to improve. The coffee was terrible, only two options of fresh fruits, I would say the only redeeming feature of the breakfast is the option for each guest to prepare their own orange juice Being 50 meters from the metro station makes getting around the city much easier. There is a well-stocked supermarket one block away that opens until 11pm every day and where you can buy everything you need.

Breakfast Sound of A/C machine I was traveling with the family, we were 4 adults and a child, so I asked for the information about a transportation service to go to the airport and none of the person at the counter had an option to advise me.

Great room, very comfortable and clean. Excellent shower. Room service whenever needed, providing fresh towels too. A safe was included in the room. Very kind reception staff, some spoke English which is really appreciated. Quick walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. We felt safe walking around the area, even at night

I would like to point out that I was in a disabled room. The location is perfect for the beach, nearby shops, restaurants, entertainment. The bathroom was big enough but the shower chair was not comfortable

The disabled room is small, the furniture is just the bare minimum. The cleanliness of the room is not the best

A great place, with great location. Breakfast was rich and good, also for vegan like me. Room was clean and very quiet (10 floor, facing back). Checkout was free until 13:00 and also luggage keeping for 3 hours after.

Digital key gets erased (maybe when too close to smartphone?). Happened to me 2 times in 3 days. A tiny thing, but maybe something to think of a solution.

The hotel was clean, safe and in an amazing location. Great for new year’s celebrations! Staff were really friendly and helpful.

There were a few little flies in the shower. Maybe there is some way to deter the bugs? Otherwise I would rate cleanliness a 5.

A very well located hotel in the heart of Rio de Janeiro and so close to Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. The staff were all great, especially Tadeu - we had stayed here a couple of weeks before and amazingly he remembered us and welcomed us very warmly. First class service!

I love this hotel!!! I’ve returned several times. Mostly I appreciate the kind, thoughtful employees at the front desk; always willing to help. The location is also perfect as it is close to the beach. I even went swimming one afternoon and the ocean was calm. I hope to return.

The location was very convenient and there are a lot of facilities near. I feel safety and enjoy my day in the hotel to meet a lot of places in Rio.

Next time a hope to have more time to review all the services included as the breakfast, at the moment all was good for me.
