The location is convenient. The breakfast buffet (included) is very good and the dinner buffet also is, and reasonably priced.

Arrived around 1100 h and had to wait until 1400 h to check in.

The breakfast and dinner buffet were excellent. The hotel is centrally located, close to major attractions. Transport was easily available. The staff were very courteous and supportive. The rooms were clean, and assistance was always readily available.

There was no tea kettle in the room. While we understand that tea may not be as popular in Brazil, it remains the drink of choice in many countries🙂. I would also suggest hiring a few English-speaking staff members, without Google Translate, we wouldn't have been able to communicate at all.

Everything was fine with this hotel except its location. From one hand - close to historical center of Rio with nice old buildings and to metro station. But it is business district that becomes empty after business hours except homeless people living at the steeets near the hotel.

On weekends and in the evenings everything around the hotel (restaurants, cafes, shops and even Churches) is closed. It did not look safe to walk around at evenings.

Comfortable beds, central location and despite it isn’t the newest interiour everything was clean and tidy. The man in the restaurant was limited in his English but really made up for it in how he treated us and especially our daughter.

We only slept 1 night at the hotel so it didn’t really bother us but the aircon in the room is a bit loud, and without it the room heats up pretty quickly. Also the pool is not that big for a hotel this size, not a problem but just something to consider if you’re not into the salt water of the sea.

The rooms were very nice, the staff was super helpful and nice. The restaurant, we loved that it opened until very late and open really early, the food was very good and it had some variety.

When you go inside it's great, the building is great, only downside is the neighborhood is not very clean the front, is not the best, but at the same time because of the location everything was close and the staff help you if you need assistance with transportation.

We stayed for NYE as the parties/events we were attending happened in downtown. The breakfast is fully stocked and there is a big choice of your basic items, nothing fancy but still satisfying. It was super clean and the room very spacious.

It is a bit of a time capsule in terms of the interior as it has not been updated in a long time, but that can also be very intriguing to vintage lovers.

This was our last stay before heading to the airport in Rio. It was nice to have extra large comfy beds. Room size was huge, staff all spoke English. Rooftop pool with service was nice. It was also close to some restaurants and shops. We also enjoyed some of the vendors near by. 20 minute ride from the airport and taxis at all hours available. Staff makes it very easy and comfortable being very present out of the front door so anyone not from the area feels pretty safe.

Quite a few homeless and beggars in the area, to be expected in this district, so marked off 1 review point only due to that. But the Staff presence at all hours does make this better.

nothing really as i have stayed there a lot of times, the rooms and lobby's are spotless and the staff are very good

Beautiful & clean hotel installations, rooms with nice views, delicious & abundant breakfast, friendly staff, and a location directly in the heart of the center of Rio. They even prepared a sweet birthday decoration beforehand with balloons, cake, etc. for a small fee. 100% recommendable!
