Everything was ok. Nothing less than I waited for. They also have a small gym and a pool with a bar on the rooftop. I live in Rio very close to this hotel and sometimes when I need one week of relaxation, I lock myself into this place.

Sometimes other guests are partying in their room. It's ok if it's in day time, but late at night it's easily fixed calling the reception and saying the room number. Another point is the guy they hired to knock on your door when you are late for check out. I'm supposed to leave, but schedule one more day on booking.com, but I had to get down at the reception to pay for it. He was very rude, even asked me if I was smoking in front of other people at the corridor, and I could hear loud party music coming from the other room right behind him, and he decided to put me on charge. My friend was sharing the room with me and found this disrespectful too. But 2 minutes will not destroy my good times at this place.

Good price and location! Swimming pool and bar on top floor have recently been renovated and it looks good! They are in the process of renovating the rooms as well.

Bureaucratic, time consuming check in process, not necessary in my opinion. Can be done simpler and faster. Especially for booking.com customers as they have all info allready.

The breakfast was very good

The cleaners did not change the beddings as I have requested, they did entered the room but they did not even change the towels which were very dirty. In addition, everytime the safes most of them remain closed it is my opinion that the cleaners close them delibarately so that the steal custumers. It happened tô me once while there but not this time. However, this time I met someone complaining of her stuff been stolen. Please the management must check who closes the safes (cofre)and why??

The room was very clean, comfortable and even romantic; we didn’t get the opportunity to explore the hotel in itself, like the pool etc., but it gave a really good impression overall. The breakfast food was basic, but good.

My biggest complaint is the wi-fi, that didn’t work in my room very well, so we couldn’t have the movie night we were really looking forward to. The breakfast food was basic but good, but it was extremely crowded and it seemed understaffed, with rude guests fighting to cut in line to be served.

Property is outdated. Cracked paint, old tile, dinning area even though was clean it felt old and dark had a old/stored smell it. The property has lots of potential, just needs a face-lift. The staff was average nice, nothing special.

Well-located, walking distance from tramway lines, Carioca Metro station and Tiradentes Square. Fine room with excellent bathroom, comfortable beds and nice toaletries. A frigo - always good. Good breakfest. Hotel Avenida Tower practices fair prices compatible with Rio hospitality rates.

Indifferent staff. Poor wifi. It only works at the hall.

I think everything was good and lived well up to expectations (apart from the fact that it took way too long time to check in and check out. I found it was chaotic and a mess with too many people checking in and out at the same time).

The check in and check out was chaotic. It took way too long time with too many people in the lobby, who were also waiting to check in or check out. During my 30 Booking.com stays in Rio, I never experienced that it was so chaotic and time consuming to check in and out.

Perfect location, clean and modern rooms, comfy beds. Close to Lapa and the metro station is not to far from it.

The elevator can get really crowded, sometimes we had to wait more than 20 minutes to go to our room or even to go to the ground floor. They should fix the elevator that is broken.

Big room, good breakfast, and cleanliness of the facility.

The only issue we had was just wifi not working most of the time.
