This place is great, it was the best hotel we stayed in Brazil (we visited 3 different cities, Rio, Natal and Salvador). The hotel is new, the outside area in particular (pool, garden, etc) is amazing, so well maintained and nice.. The pool is huge and even if there are people, it seems still very quiet and relaxing..

It's not so near to Salvador down town, it takes 20-25 minutes by taxi to get to the city center, but on the other side is close to the airport, so for us was a good compromise.

That's my second time at the hotel. The staff did a really great job! Loved the bedroom and the bonus services that came with it. We stayed at the premium room at the 8th floor, everything was perfect! They have bungalows at another pool that you can make a reservation and spend the morning or the afternoon there, it's great for couples.

Some things at the room service were a bit expensive. They charged us for things we didn't consume and some items were doubled on the bill. But it was not a big deal since they took it out from our room bill and everything was ok.

We spent some very pleasant days with our family, everything was perfect, all the people at the hotel are very helpful, the social areas are very quiet and the restaurant is perfect. The best place to be in Bahia.

The breakfast buffet had a lot of variety and was always tasty. The swimming pools and other facilities were great, and the staff friendly.

The rooms are a bit dated and could do with renovating.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was able to organize tours and transportation at ease.

The food wasn't that great. There wasn't a variety of dishes to choose from. And they serve the same thing daily.

The hotel complex is huge with various pools, kids corner, tennis / volley / football courts and an immense gym. The breakfast is fairly good. It’s an ideal place for families with kids.

The hotel is not super clean - could be improved. Also the restaurant could have more options (vary between lunch and dinner choices)

People were very friendly and made me feel welcome and comfortable. Pool was nice and the fitness room was pretty good!

Buffet for dinner was average.

Zelia Gatai suite was beyond stunning with a heavenly view. The bungalows are magical and should never be missed. The food and staff were great. It was such a relaxing stay and we will certainly come back.

Very comfortable and well kept hotel. Friendly staff and excellent grounds. One of the best hotels i stayed in Salvador. highly recommend if you can afford to stay a bit away from the city center.

the Hotel is not "feet on the sand" .. we have to walk about half a kilometer to get to the beach. the beach in front is not the best in the neighborhood - .

it was a great choice, all family members liked it very much. the hotel located in a quiet area about 18 mins away from airport. it looks new, and the room was extremely clean. the daily cleaning was done perfectly as well. the room deco is simple and has a modernist touch to it. the bathroom was easy to use, the shower was very powerful which was so nice to have after a hot and tiring tourist day! the hotel had kids’ amenities as well. breakfast was decent, staff very helpful. what impressed us the most was that when we ordered room service for dinner, I asked them to bring a wine opener as well as we brought one bottle of wine ourselves. after ordering my husband reminded me that I need to ask them to bring the glasses as well as there weren’t wine glasses in the room and I forgot to ask. but when I called again to ask for wine glasses the staff said that I have already included wine glasses in your delivery since you wanted a bottle opener. the staff really put their heart into what they are doing and already thought ahead for the guests. the waiter helped us to open the wine as well when he delivered the food/glasses etc. one more great point was that I washed my kids’ clothes and hang them on the back of the chair, and when we came back in the evening the clothes were all properly put on a drying-rack, the cleaning lady just brought it in during daily service to make it easier to dry the clothes… again we didn’t ask for it! it was a pleasant surprise. the pool was very kids friendly as well. we would go back to this hotel if we go to Salvador again.

all in all it was a wonderful stay. a few small things that could have been better: we rented a car, and as hotel guests we still had to pay the parking, I think normally hotels don’t charge parking if you are staying there? it is very close to the beach, but it is not walkable (especially in Salvador’s weather).
