Room as decribed on booking, everything in a hotel worked very well. Nothing fancy, but everything was really fine. Very nice people at the reception, and very good breakfast with nice choice of dishes. Perfect for a one night stay!

Well... it is not connected with the hotel directly - but the hotel advertises transfer from the airport in its description. That does not work well - the regular transfer is only 4 or 5 times a day and ends around 8pm. Later - the company (the one proposed by the hotel) offers you a private transport for a price that is much, much higher than taxis or Uber from the airport. Moreover thay want customers to pay in advance. Finally we didn't use it, as we decided the price was too high. The taxi is very easy, we arrived around 0:30 and it was not a problem to get one (much cheaper!).

Very centrally located near the airport. Very friendly staff and good breakfast buffet. The room was a bit small but totally alright. Also the valet parking (charging once for 24hs and parking and brining the car unlimited times for the amount within the booked time) was very easy to handle and very quickly acting. A metro station is also very closeby.

Arrival with the own car was a bit strange as the entrance to the hotel is in a dead end road with inverted driving lanes. There is a valet parking service right at the entrance.

Excellent option for a work trip to Salvador with activities in nearby location (Lauro de Freitas) and at the CAB (Centro Administrativo da Bahia. The hotel has a good location and the facilities for a work trip.

The telephone in my room didn't work. I asked twice but it was not fixed during my stay. Very limited options of room service.

I took an Uber to go back and forth from the Airport and later, to Mansão do Caminho. Due to my earlier flight, I didn't have the chance to have breakfast, but you could make an exception. Deirdre is an amazing member of staff. She supported me while I was nervous, anxious, and exhausted and tried to help me in as many different ways as she could. In the end, I would recommend this hotel, anyway.

Easy access to the airport. Great breakfast buffet.

I booked for two people. My girlfriend turned up later. Because she did not register, we were rudely told at breakfast that she was not allowed to eat unless I paid extra. A bit embarrassing mid breakfast, especially when I had paid for two people.

Just had a issue with the communication system. Phones, text msgs and email responding to your needs was very bad. But i had excellent experience with the staff at my check in. He was above expectations!!! Thanks

This Ibis is very conveniently located in the Salvador airport area. If you are coming by car, the hotel has a valet parking service. There is no shuttle service from and to the airport, but you can easily order a taxi. The hotel restaurant has the essentials for a business traveler, in particular the fact of being open for both lunch and dinner.

The competitive price may be a consequence of the equipment in the room being somewhat worn-out. It didn't impact my overnight stay but could be unpleasant for someone wiling to stay longer than a couple of days.

Staff were patient and helped us despite language barrier. As tourists we got good advice about how to get around etc

Low water pressure in barhroom sink, and no included soap in shower. No major problems

Comfortable rooms. Restaurant on-site. Staff friendly. Baggage storage. Very good wifi.

Breakfast is quite crowded, as not enough space to seat everybody (although I believe the restaurant is currently under construction).

By far the best stay in Brasil. If you are interested in Eoropean standart this will be your choice.

The shower was to hot, even though the staff was sending someone to repair it, they couldn‘t resolve the issue.
