The pool was uncrowded and comfortable, with staff frequently checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. My family stayed in non-renovated rooms, and unfortunately, the balcony did not have chairs. I noticed that other floors had been updated with new flooring and chairs on the balconies. The beach was very relaxing and just a few steps from the pool. There were even natural pools where you could sit and enjoy the view. A few dining options were available nearby on the beach, along with some beach vendors. Mondays were quieter, while Sundays were the busiest.

The restaurant menu did not have too many options, but everything we had was delicious.

The location 10 minutes from the airport and 30 minutes from Salvador city centre was perfect for us. It is also right at the beach with a good sized swimming pool. I really enjoyed the outside spaces which are well maintained, and was really impressed by all the staff who put a lot of effort into cleaning and making the place look good. There is a restaurant on the premises which serves a good selection of food including good pizzas. The breakfast was good. Check-in was quick and easy. We had a sea and pool view room with a balcony with hammock and table and chairs, from where we could listen to the live band which played music on Saturday evening, so lovely!

It is clear that the hotel has been renovated to some extent, particularly the gardens pool and restaurant bar area, but too many things particularly in the stairways and the rooms were left not renovated, which gives a bad impression of the place particularly on arrival.

The pool, courtyard, and lounge are the best parts of this property. The pool is amazing but maybe a little too warm. There is a full restaurant and bar, lounge chairs, great music, and direct beach access with a shower.

The rooms could use some work. The finishings were beat up and wood on door was starting to rot. The bathroom looked like it had not been cleaned before our stay and the beds just had a sheet and no blanket. We had to ask for a blanket, as well as extra towels as not enough towels were provided for the amount of people on our reservation.

Great location at the beach with super friendly staff. A modern room with airco, television and a massive, comfortable bed. The room and bathroom are cleaned everyday. Good breakfast with a lot of cakes 🍰. Swimming pool is warm and clean. The restaurant next to the resort matches the vibe: not to fancy, but really good food and wines. On the beach you can find some nice small local restaurants serving fresh fish. The beach has a small lagoon to chill but also an area with good waves for surfing. 🏄‍♂️ And… stunning sunset 🌅

The pool was excellent, the breakfast was good, and the room was clean.

I did not like that I booked two rooms together, and they were separated. Other thing was that they charged all the money of the reservation right away. Normally, you pay on arrival. Also, I thought we had "vista" to the ocean, but somehow this is never given when you book by Booking.com

I loved the location tucked away from busy Salvador with beaches and beautiful facilities

The stairs with luggage and my friend had a bad knee os difficult for them to climb. The shower tile was incomplete and the bathroom needed a tad better cleaning but all in all a very clean place.

The hotel is well located facing a nice beach. The next is a tad wavy but still nice.

For breakfast you have to ask if you want something else like eggs or omelette. I'd have liked more proactivity from the staff.

Breakfast was pretty good, but would have liked more of variety in options Day to day in the savoury foods section. Location is excellent, love the access to beaches straight from the hotel complex. Also the hotel complex being in a gated secure location made us feel very safe which was excellent also.

Very well located, nice pool area, nice sitting area and garden, facing the sea - close to the airport by taxi or Uber. The staff was very friendly. There's a restaurant in the hotel, and a small and nice pizzeria, so there is no need to go out to eat. The caipirinha is awesome. Breakfast is very good. This is a very friendly and convenient hotel for us, as a stop point for a few days while traveling from one city to another through Salvador. Good value for money.

This hotel is a great option for those who are looking for a calm area near Salvador. Just in front of the beach with a stunning view from the bedroom. Breakfast is perfect and the room is tidy and has everything you need. Swimming pool with a bar and restaurant gives a special touch to it. It is a bit far from Salvador city centre but you can get there in 20 minutes by taxi. If you like to spend time near the beach, Villa da Praia Hotel is the place for you to stay. Highly recommended!
