The key factor in choosing the hotel was that breakfast was included in the price of the stay. And in the end I got the experience of staying a little away from the center of Sal Rei, but with a beautiful view of the ocean. The first thing I liked was the service staff and the attitude towards me as a guest. This was probably the best customer focus that I have encountered in years of traveling. If it is important for you to feel welcome, then I would recommend you to stay at the Por do Sol hotel. I received answers to all my questions, and throughout my stay the owners were interested in my stay and how they could help me if there was a need. The second thing I would like to note is the architectural design of the complex. It is really necessary to praise the architect for his fine taste and attention to detail both in the external appearance of the buildings and inside the apartments. This applies to the choice of furniture, the layout of the studio rooms, and the stylish courtyard with a swimming pool, mini-beach, and lighting at night. As a result, the author managed to create a wonderful atmosphere on the ocean shore with a beautiful view of the evening sunset. Thank you very much! :)

The apartment was amazing, all new, clean and comfortable. We did not use the pool but it was big and great. The staff at breakfast and reception was really nice in every interaction.

Location (around 20mins walk from market, bars, beach). You have to pay in cash some of the things, and it is complicated since they do not have change (Euros) Breakfast did not have many options (no vegetable milk, no natural juices, small portions and flies around). However, the breakfast staff was really nice and helpful, the chef was very thoughtful!

It was too far out of the main town area for my husband and I, as it meant having to take taxis almost everywhere. But as a last-minute booking and it was only a short visit that was not too much of a problem.

We had an amazing week at Por do Sol! Our apartment was very big, super clean, perfectly equipped and with a beautiful view of the sea. The breakfast was delicious, with variety and local products, fruit, cheese, etc. Jenny and Agustina were super helpful and friendly, always there to give tips and help us out. Jenny always made excellent suggestions for places to go and she went out of her way to arrange a daily excursion for us and we had a wonderful day around the island. It was one of the best places we have ever stayed!

Appreciate the apartments had only recently opened after Covid but just to note the pool is very cold and is awaiting refurbishment (tiles were broken/loose) but the pool is clean and can still be used.

The mattresses were uncomfortable, I think is important when I'm on vacation for to sleep and reat comfortably and there was no iron in the apartment.

After staying at a very busy Rui hotel complex I wanted to get away to a more quite personal stay and this place was perfect 👍🏼 the staff were very friendly and very helpful, the accommodation was lovely, spacious and very clean! I definitely recommend!

Very close to beach and beachbars. Just a short walk to restaurant center, shopping center and to the beach with less waves and more activity.
