One of the nicest hotel experiences I've had in a long time. The staff was incredible in every way, and they surprised my wife with a homemade birthday cake (without being prompted, they literally just noticed it on her ID from check-in!). The location of this hotel is beyond exceptional for Tarrafal, you cannot do better. The rooms were larger than expected and included beach towels which was great. The food was nice and obviously easy since it was downstairs.

Perfectly located between the two beautiful beaches of Tarrafal, just steps away. The rooms are well equipped and air-conditioned and staff is very friendly. Good food at the hotel restaurant and also nearby..Beach towels provided by the hotel. Very good value for the price.

Would have liked more hooks or small rack to hang wet clothes when coming from the beach. We.would have liked to stay longer

Excellent location next to beach with amazing view from every room, really friendly staff who were very welcoming (especially towards our 2 year old toddler), great breakfast with large variety (also for vegetarians), comfortable suites with nice design and option to prepare own meals

Few minor things could be approved: shower drains slowly, towels should be washed at higher temperatures, larger pan in kitchen and cooking knives could be added

This is a new property and we may have been the first to cook in the apartment. You need to ask for a cooktop (single induction plate), there’s a domestic fridge and basic level of equipment. We had a first floor apartment with great views over the beach. The breakfast is excellent as are other meals in the rather austere restaurant. The staff were very variable, some extremely helpful.

The owner is totally unresponsive through booking.com, I contacted the owner before booking and again whilst staying, no reply on both occasions. There’s security for most of the day, but sometime after 8am there’s no cover, and it appears during that time 1 of our rental car tyres was deflated. The hotel staff helped me change it. Note, confusingly, the apartment shown with the outside patio area is on the ground floor and a different rate.

Great location and good breakfast buffet. Located right by the Tarrafal beach and within walking distance to several restaurants.

Described kitchen consisted of a mircowave and a sink, but no equipment, cutlary or dishes.

All the fysical facilities are excellent: modern, clean, comfortable. The location and the views are fantastic. Food was good. WiFi superb. Some shading on the panoramic terrace would make it much nicer.

Management and staff could have been so much better. Unattentive, busy with themselves rather than hospitable towards their guests. Not unfriendly but uninspired / not really interested. Manager smoking outside next to the main front entrance...

The hotel was great, calm and clean. You can enjoy the beach located in front of the hotel, you'll share it mainly with families, and youth groups. You can even have some natural coconut water from local marchands.

The breakfast was great but the diner less qualitative. Beware of transportation to get to Tarrafal from Praia airport. A private taxi is about 6000 escudos for 1h30 journey. If you have time you can get to Praia city (+/- 1000-1500 escudos) and take an aluguer for 600 escudos, it'd be about 3 h journey.

our room was beautiful and clean, great quality overall and a fantastic view over the beach. very comfortable bed, linens, towels, AC - really great room

the hotel has an amazing beachfront location and it’s a shame that there are really no outdoor facilities at the hotel (no shaded sitting area, no lounge chairs, etc). however given the proximity to the beautiful beach we didn’t mind too much. the staff seemed uninterested

From the moment we arrived it was beautiful welcoming hotel looks like every room had a view of the beach.

No elevator 1 hour scenic drive from the airport

I really liked the hotel, always clean and the rooms have a lot of space and are very common and everything works perfectly, the staff is excellent, always very friendly and attentive, nothing to point out from ,the best places I've ever been
