Excellent western breakfast. Location was a bit south of the main tourist stuff, but it was an easy walk along the lovely promenade, which is just across the street. This also meant that our room was quieter, although we could hear a bit of music when we went outside. Our room was on the upper floor with a big window overlooking the pool & breakfast area. Nothing gaudy or ostentatious. It met our needs very well & we'd recommend it to others.

The folks downstairs were having a bit of an argument which extended to about midnight. Not the fault of the hotel, & it wasn't loud enough to complain about, although I would have if it had continued much longer. We realized afterwards that the HUGE window overlooking the pool & the path to the breakfast area allows those below to see into our room more than we expected, so you'll want to cover that beautiful window at times. Since there's a balcony outside that window, bringing that window all the way to the floor is a bit of a waste. A 3' high wall at the bottom of that window would mean you wouldn't really need the curtains.

Ceiling fan in the room blew hurricane force at low speed AC not totally functional. The staff tried to fix but I think it was a design issue. We couldn't run the fan. The room was very stuffy at night. As it was Chinese New year there was very loud music from a bar next door and we understand that is the case at the weekend. Breakfast was average. As in most places we have stayed in Cambodia the shower drain backs up.

Lovely boutique hotel, wonderful breakfast & coffee, had dinner also which was delicious, room and general setting is very cool, staff are very helpful and friendly, also helped book tours & transfer to Phnom Penh.

Locations is next to a club with banging music on one side (earplugs are provided!) and next to a restaurant on the other which blasts out their music. Hard to have a tranquil time by the pool, but rooms are quite well insulated so noise doesn’t affect sleep too much.

It is a small gem located at the edge of town (within walking distance to the main part) and across the river. The layout of the place is wonderful, surrounded by big trees and the pool is beautiful. We took the 1st floor room, so we had the balcony overlooking the pool. The rooms and common areas are clean. The staff were friendly and services were good. It is a good value for money and I would added that this is by far the best place in Kampot.

There were only two things that had put us off was - the music noise from restaurant next door. The music/singing/karoake ended around 12am we think - we had ear plugs (complimentary from the hotel). We were able to have a good sleep after that and the bed was a bit hard for our liking.

We liked everything about Pippali. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, we ate most of our meals there and enjoyed them. We had been warned that there could be noisy music from adjacent properties but we never had a problem and slept very well. It was lovely being so close to the river and having the promenade to walk along. And we enjoyed visiting the local attractions by tuk tuk.

Generally a lovely little hotel. The staff were lovely. Tourist leaflets were available. Breakfast was good and freshly made to order. Good location within easy reach of the town centre.

Bits of the hotel were tired and could do with a bit of ❤️. The towels were worn in the bathroom. The pool area could do with an uplift....although the pool was a plus point. Neighbouring property is noisy.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Decent location with walking distance to main attractions and restaurants. Lush pool area and a comfy room with all necessities.

The restaurant next door is playing very loud music until quite late. Ear plugs provided and not the hotels fault but still quite disturbing. Lush pool area = lot of seeds, leaves and stuff in the water.

the personnel is welcoming, breakfast is really tasty, always clean rooms and nice refreshing swimming pool. everything is in walkable distance from the hotel. They helped us with motorbike rent and different info about things in the region, so we have enjoyed the province beautiful and interesting sights at its max, and thanks for useful advices like taking a jacket with us to Kulen mountain it was really chilly to go on a bike there and without it we would definitely get sick❤️

you should be aware that it is situated in between of 3 roads and a pub street is just next door, so it is somewhat noizy in late evening and night till around 2am (I am not talking about a New Year celebration period here as that is just an exception of extra noize for 3 days due to huge celebrations and it was fun).. also we were not notified that if we want to pay with card an extra bank fee is applied which was not nice as I asked beforehand on the possibility to pay with the card and details, and this was a bit of disappointment in the end as they also insisted in the beginning that the payment is done with the checkout.. and do bring repellent as we got bites by small midges outside quite badly, probably because the city is next to the river.

Great Location, nice staff, english not always good. Good breakfast options. Noise next door stops early (I stayed the weekend) so not really a problem. Lovely pool with enough seating.

Like every where in Cambodia, there is a lot of streetwork going on. I think its almost finished. And the result is better roads, walkways etc.

Nice comfortable hotel, further away from the downtown hustle but still within walking distance to everything. The best wifi connectivity we experienced in Cambodia. Comfortable and clean rooms, restaurant and pool are nice extras. Very helpful staff, assisted in arranging tours, laundry, etc.
