Wonderful well-kept gardens and poolareas. Lots of space. Everything was very clean. Beautifully decorated and spacious rooms.

The last day we had a late flight and were hoping to keep one room until our departure. Hotel was almost empty of guests but we got only a slightly extended checkout. We had planned to spend time and money at the spa but decided not to do it because of the rigid attitude of the staff. It had cost nothing extra for the hotel to let us to keep the rooms but the management/staff didn’t seem to understand how to keep good guests happy. The gym equipment was a bit outdated. The sofas in the suite living room were incredible uncomfortable.

Staff is very cooperative, they arranged Veg Breakfast for us for entire stay. Swimming pools are too good. Room size are nice. Resort is full of green plants and trees.

Food is very expensive and very limited options. Initially I was given room in a isolated wing with construction undergoing in floor below me, after i raided concern, I was transferred to a better wing & room.

The first impression was very welcoming, with a great reception on arrival. The rooms are great. Food and beverages are well priced. The included breakfast was a good mix of local and western foods. Big pool with a swim-up bar. The hotel was clean and well presented.

Not a complete dislike, but of note to travellers. The hotel is a bit out of the city and requires a tuk-tuk or Grab ride to the main areas. These can be arranged by the hotel or the Grab app. It will cost around 2- 4 USD each way. Walking is not an option. However, due to the location it is a quiet area. The hotel would have been well located as one of the first into the city with the old international airport. The new Airport is over an hour away on the other side of the city

I absolutely loved staying in Angkor Palace Resort & Spa! Everything here is made to aesthetically luxurious perfection, spacious and airy, starting from the guest arriving area away from the main road, the reception hall with an amazing bas-relief-a copy of the one in Angkor Wat, fancy decorated restaurant serving outstanding Khmer dishes, big tastefully arranged room where I stayed with a ceiling-to-floor window to the lush garden, fancy circular swimming pool down in the garden, decorated with great love to Khmer culture and heritage. I had the most amazing massage in the incredible state-of-art massage "temple"! All this luxurious beauty came with relaxing and peaceful ambience, away from all outside world noise, with beautiful bird singing in the garden, fresh air and flower aroma. As a solo traveler, I felt so relaxed and happy, special thank you to all staff in this hotel who have made me feel welcome and pampered throughout my stay! As a result, I did feel myself like a Princess during my stay in Angkor Palace! In fact, after having spent a few nights in Angkor Palace, I moved to another, more expensive hotel ... and had just canceled that another one and was overjoyed to return back the very next morning to this hidden paradise of Siem Reap! I highly recommend Angkor Palace Resort & Spa to everyone as a best of the best, outstanding hotel complex, a hidden gem in Cambodia and Southeast Asia, and I do hope to be back there soon enough.

We loved the staff Na Hrom and Ruen. They were all extremely kind and helpful. The grounds are Spacious and beautiful. Place is clean and will kept.

We would have likes to see more vegetarian options of food without oyster sauce, eggs or fish sauce. Many people come through that were vegetarian and struggle with that in Cambodia. There was off and on one curry available and would have liked to see more local vegetables rather brocooli. The location is also further out from town and makes it inconvenience to get around without a car or tuk tuk. Walking is also not possible. It takes 45 or more just to get to the town by foot. We ended up renting bikes just to be more independent for a day in town.

The property is well located but close to main places such as Angkor Wat. It's a beautiful, property with two swimming pools (a lap pool). The spa is relaxing and offers superb massages - don't miss them! Breakfast choice was for every taste and service was impeccable. The bar is very cosy and the bartender has superb imagination - try his passion diaquery! The room staff just did an outstanding job and laundry service is efficient and timely. The front desk welcomed us with grace and compensation. All the Staff get 5 stars including the tuk tuk owner/driver. This is an oasis!

Really nothing!

We loved our stay here! Where to start... The resort is lovely and well maintained. The pool area and gardens are beautiful. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. And perfectly quiet. The gym is excellent for a hotel, featuring high-quality treadmills, a spinning bike and a good set of dumbbells. The breakfast has great choices and quality, and you can also eat outside in the garden. We celebrated New Year's here, the hotel organized a fantastic buffet dinner by the pool. Last but by no means least: the personnel is amazing, everybody is so kind and courteous. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality!

Although it's a little way out of town, we didn't really mind as it was easy to take a Grab or hotel rickshaw into town and was pretty convenient for Angkor Watt. The hotel didn't seem very full but the grounds were really well maintained and we loved the pool (the big green one, which seemed to be unofficially more for adults) was absolutely gorgeous. Our main gripe was the WiFi in our room was a bit sketchy but after we raised it with reception they must have done something because it improved. AC and hot water in the room was great and the breakfast was really nice; you could eat inside or outside amongst trees and ponds with pretty fish. There weren't many lunch/dinner options for us vegetarians (there was one sandwich and one pizza), so we mostly chose to go into town to eat.

Needed better vegetarian options in the restaurant.

In total: It was a nice place. Everything was clean and repaired. Downtown was easy to reach with a Tuktuk. But a five star hotel looks different. Let’s say: 4,5 fits better. The hotel was build maybe 15-20 years ago?…the whole setup from welcoming process to pool service would need a higher level for being a real five star. But they could make it - if they want to.

Dear Angkor places team, If you want to give out a 15% voucher then you should mean it! They placed three vouchers for our stay in the key card envelope of the kids. When checking out, we realized this. Their answer was: oh sorry, you should have shown it before payment. Again: if you want to make a gift, then MEAN it or leave it away.

Beautiful property and gorgeous layout. Pool was large and comfortable. Rooms are adjoining for a family which gives you two bathrooms and plenty of space. Nice balcony. A/C worked well. Breakfast was very good with made to order eggs. Plenty of choices.

At check-in, there was some misunderstanding from the lady checking us in. She didn’t understand that we had 3 rooms booked under one name, yet three different names per room. It ended up taking 39 minutes to check us in. At one point another customer came to ask something and 4 staff stopped arranging our rooms to listen to her story for a few minutes. Nothing offered to us for our inconvenience. Would expect better from a five star property. The location is a bit out of the city center but grab is readily available and cheap. Gym is a bit dated. Poolside prices are unnecessarily high.
