The property is very clean and updated amenities

The distance is a little bit out of pub street but the property offers free one way tuk tuk rides from 5-8 which made up for the distance, we would stay there again. It’s not a far ride, 4 minutes.

Very serene and quiet environment, nice pool including a pool bar, super lovely staff. The room was very specious, the bathtub (or should I say indoors swimming pool) was absolutely huge, the biggest we've ever had! The airco was professionally setup, strong enough for a big room, but never blowing directly on the bed. We slept amazing, woken up by tropical birds. Breakfast had a cook who freshly prepared eggs, and I liked the drink selection at breakfast (loved the ice coffee). Part of the food selection changed each day. There was a decent selection but not always a lot of quantity (however if you ask they can bring more). It was out of the bustle and hustle which was a plus for us - the center is easily reachable in 5-10 minutes by tuktuk for about a dollar (and we never needed to wait more than 2 minutes for one).

The room door had gaps which left geckos and bugs in the room (we found some of each). We didn't mind too much, as we are OK to be in touch with nature, but the door could be better done. The balcony door didn't have a mosquito net so it was hard to air out the room. Our first room was on ground floor and it was humid but we couldn't air it out because of mosquitoes - it was much better after we moved to the higher floor. We did find some killed mosquitoes splashed in the room, I get that some are hard to clean but it was not nice to see. There were fruit flies on the salad bar, that could be improved.

The room was huge! It was so quiet after a day at the temples. The food was really lovely and the omelettes at breakfast were delicious! It was close to town, short tuk tuk away but the best of all were the staff….they really did make the stay amazing! They made us feel really special!! Huge shout out to Mr Lucky and actually everyone….nothing was ever too much trouble! There was a lovely lass who waited on us…..I wish I could remember her name! She greeted us with a huge smile every time we came back, she even tried to teach us some basic phrases :-) Mr Riay ?? took us out and about, lovely guide and we would hope to see him again! We hope to see them all again, perhaps for 2 weeks where we can enjoy some down time too. Happy hour passion fruit mojitos and margaritas……wow!

Absolutely nothing!

Our room was with private pool which was nice but was lacking on gardening side i.e. some plants etc. We saw some bushes growing over the top. Room was spacious but we spotted few mosquitoes, reported and then got sorted. Shower gel etc. is way high to reach when you are having shower. It should be easily accessible when showering. There should be no glass bottles for shower gel, shampoo etc. for safety reason in case it slips off your hand. This is what happened to me. I have reported this to the management. It is not ideal for older people. They should have body lotion which was lacking Breakfast was good but they could have done more by introducing local food. Bar area by the main pool need refurbishing. Too many insects in the evening. Restaurant menu need to be addressed, need more local dishes and vegetarian choice as well. some of the things I have mentioned above under "what I Liked"

All staff were attentive, considerate, accommodating, keen to help in every way and had a genuine interest in making our stay special. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to potential visitors to Siem Reap. We were upgraded to a fabulous room with its own private pool. The accommodation was kept clean and tidy by housekeeping.On arrival, the desk staff were professional, approachable, knowledgeable and courteous. My wife and I were very impressed with the way in which the hotel was run. Everybody knew what they had to do and all worked together to ensure that the mood of the hotel and guests was met consistently. We both hope to be able to return to Cambodia and stay at this hotel again. We were able to relax, knowing that anything we requested would be addressed with a smile.... Thank you for making our stay memorable, my wife was sad to leave.....

From the beginning, the staff were very helpful to provide information and guidance over emails to help us plan our visit. Hotel provide taxi or tuk-tuk services at short notice which were very convenient. Prior to arrival, we booked our tours for Angkor Wat complex via the hotel. It was very convenient and not expensive at all. We were super happy also with the services of the English guide and the taxi driver, they were knowledgeable and always took care of our preferences. We were upgraded to the bigger room and it was spacious, airy and comfortable. Good food and drink options including daily Happy Hour free drinks!!

The location is in the suburban area so you need a taxi or tuk-tuk to go to the main city area (about 15 min drive). If you just go out and take a walk, there isn't much around the locality. A bit dusty due to the surrounding suburban environment.

Metta Residency is an amazing property, beautifully and aesthetically designed. The rooms were absolutely gorgeous, making this hotel probably our most favorite one. A special appreciation goes to Mr. Andy at the reception, who not only upgraded our room for free but also assisted us in getting a scooter and guided us on everything from the beginning. The breakfast was also amazing, and the staff is incredibly loving and welcoming. They offer fantastic deals on beverages and food, adding to the overall experience. The pool is beautiful and clean, making for a perfect relaxing spot. Overall, Metta Residency provides an exceptional stay with top-notch service and amenities.

This hotel is heaven on earth! We initially booked 4 nights, but decided to extend our stay because we fell in love with the place. The service is exceptional. Every staff member is constantly smiling and eager to help with anything. They genuinely care about your comfort and make sure you have everything you need. The food in the restaurant is excellent, we had enough time to try all the dishes and they were all simply amazing. The grounds were beautifully maintained, and the spa was outstanding, offering professional massages that left us feeling completely refreshed after a long morning visiting the temples. We stayed at the villa with private pool, which provided the perfect stay. It's secluded and a bit away from the main pool, perfect if you like privacy. From collection to drop-off, every detail was well taken care of, making our experience truly memorable. Big thank you to the amazing staff at Metta, you are superstars!
