The property is truely exceptional! Each traditional timber home is unique & they sit beautifully together on the property. The quality of furnishings inside the timber homes, is to a very high standard. The garden is peaceful & tranquil and beautifully maintained. There was a thoughtful gift for us, which was a delightful surprise. We had dinner on our private deck one night which was magical. The team helped arrange our tours to the temples & travel around Siem Reap, which was to the highest standards. The food is delicious & the staff are fabulous. A most memorable stay. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved the Sala Lodge! Quaint, rustic yet so comfortable and well appointed. Each lodge is so private, quiet, extremely safe and spacious! The gifts upon arrival are so kind as well- welcome drinks, scarves and spices! Even a free mini bar as well. The pool and spa are easy to access and beautiful as well- staff even bring treats and water to guests at the pool. We also relaxed with onsite massages each day with experienced, accommodating staff. Everyone was so pleasant and worked diligently to ensure we had access to transportation, dinner reservations and so on. The breakfast team even quickly whipped up a vegan curry option for me for breakfast as well- which was delicious! Location is within 2 miles from downtown and easy walk to restaurants and markets. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Sala Lodges and if we return to this area- would stay here again without hesitation.

The property was pheonomonal and very comfortable! A unique piece of paradise in the middle of Siem Reap! The grounds were impeccable, lush and absolutely beautiful! The staff was always smiling, warm, welcoming, greeted us by our first names and were always available for service. The breakfast was outstanding as well as the selections. I would stay here again on my next visit and recommend to my family and friends.

The massage room was a bit loud with someone walking on the 2nd level otherwise everything was perfect.

everything! 12 out of 10 stars, if I could....beautiful ambiente, super attentive staff, fantastic food - but then also careful attention to the details/small things, like providing us at 4:45am with two flasks of coffee for our sunrise-trip....and a wonderful birthday cake :-)

Beautiful garden setting; lovingly restored traditional Khmer houses. Comfortable bed. All the staff were super friendly and helpful, also with suggestions for what to do and how to get there.

To keep the house cool you need to keep windows and shades closed, which makes for a dark room. We needed both airconditioning units blasting continuously to keep the room at a comfortable temperature, but one unit blew straight onto the bed. The bathroom had no airconditioning. Granted, it was the hot season, but still. We would have liked an own coffeemaker, and maybe own glassware to have drink on the patio. The swimming pool water was too warm. A change of breakfast menu (not just the Khmer specialty) would have been nice.

The traditional khmer houses are furnished with refined taste. The garden around the houses is beautiful. The stuff is very helpful. We had 3 excursions organized by the hotel with the wonderful local guide Mias.

The staff was perfect. Always smiling, always helping, adapting the offer to our requests. This is what I liked the most, the hotel adapted the service to our wishes. Excellent cooking, dishes, deserts all made in house and again they made a traditional dish which was not on the menu just to make us happy. The owner is very nice and supervise the staff.

Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff, a beautifully designed and maintained space with wonderful food, the pool was heavenly .

It was easy to catch Tuk Tuk's everywhere but there was no where to walk to nearby.

The property was sited in beautiful grounds, extremely peaceful. The staff were exceptional and the food and drinks brilliant.

Beautiful old wooden houses. Great food in the restaurant, friendly helpful staff. Not very full when we stayed.

The wooden houses don't have much sound insulation, and we had to move from our first house which sufferred from noise coming over the boundary fence - the staff organised a move for us very quickly and the second house was fine.
