After our arrival in Calgary, by air, the hotel was located fairly near the airport, just a short drive after we picked up our rental car. Upon arrival, the gentleman that we dealt with was very friendly and helpful, I think his name was Mo, and as per my request via Booking.com we were allocated a lovely room on the 6th floor, with a fabulous view of the Calgary skyline and the Rocky Mountains in the distance. The room was spotlessly clean, and the two queen beds that me and my wife used were exceptionally comfortable. 😊 Ensuring that after a long journey from the UK we have had three great night's sleep 😴 The hotel itself is very well equipped, with a lovely restaurant and bar that during our 3 night's stay served us two absolutely delicious meals at a reasonable price. If ever I come back to Calgary, I would have no hesitation in booking this hotel again! Thanks guys for a lovely stay. 😊

We decided to stay at the Best Western PLUS Port O'Call Hotel specifically for my son, as it features an impressive indoor water park. From the moment we arrived, the entire experience was outstanding. The water park itself is extraordinary, offering a variety of slides, pools, and play areas that kept my son entertained for hours. Not only was the facility well-maintained and clean, but the staff was also friendly and attentive, making sure everything was in perfect order. It truly exceeded my expectations in every way, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice.

What a great Hotel! Big room, probably the fastest elevators I've ever had to deal with, the waterpark is beautiful and well organized; as you pick a timeslot between 6 - 10, so you aren't going in when it's over crowded. There is also a second pool and hot tub for those not looking for waterslides and screaming kids. The hotel even has underground parking! Needless to say... We would absolutely stay again!
The parkade is very tight. Just a note to those with trucks; be very careful when you have to go down a level, as the ramps are very tight. You may have to three point it in an effort to not hit the side of your vehicle when you are trying to make the turn. The parking area has plenty of room, it's just the ramps that are tricky.

THE STAFF was very welcoming and polite and patient. this is what gives one a good opinion of a place/hotel. the ROOMS WERE also good and clean. breakfast was EXCELLENT FOR NON VEGETARIANS AND EGGETARIANS , but average for vegetarians. the only point is as a vegetarian most of us dont necessarily consider egg as a vegetarian dish. so please name dishes appropriately - mentioning that it contains egg. there are about 150 million of us like me in India who are not eggetarians but vegetarians and many think that people in the west know the difference between a vegetarian and a eggetarian. this is not unique to your hotel, but all over Canada[ which by the way is a beautiful place with nice people] However Canadians are taught that egg is vegetarian , but that is not the case for many Indians.
breakfast for vegetarians had very few choices, but it was more than made up by the staff [ great staff]

The pools were fantastic. The beds were comfy. The rooms so clean!! The pools and the cleanliness are the reason for us choosing to stay here and it did not disappoint!
Need ramp access from underground parking to the elevator we had a baby stroller.. unless we missed where we can push one in but looked like one way in. Also not the hotels fault but parents when you bring your kids to the pool please don’t let them run amuck like wild animals, it’s not fun for other families and the pool staff had to tell off multiple kids multiple times on Oct 4th between 9-10pm and it shouldn’t be their job to parent the kids if they misbehaving. It may be a holiday out, but parents can still parent.

The courteous service, the comfortable beds and the friendliness of the staff. Our luggage didn't arrive in Calgary. After we had tried to call the airport and the airline many times ourselves, the front desk manager gave us great support and called us again and tried to solve the problem for us. We were also provided with free shuttle service to the airport so we could search for our luggage. In the hotel the guest is king. All employees are super motivated and helpful. The hotel has a water park with 2 large slides. Our two daughters particularly liked this. The continental breakfast buffet includes: Toasts, muffins, fresh fruit, cereals, eggs, bacon, pancakes, juices, jam, peanut butter and much more

Kids loved the pool, great having 2 slides so little wait time and toddler wouldn’t leave the toddler area.
Booked a king room with pull out sofa bed. Son went to sleep on it and there was no mattress left in that 40 year old thing, just pure metal springs in his back. Asked if we could get a new mattress or a cot and they said they had no cots but could try a different sofa bed, therefore different room. It was late and reluctantly looked at the other bed and it was marginally better so changed the mattresses over. We had to do it ourselves and would have been nice to be helped more: he is a 5 year old and would sleep anywhere but there was no way he could sleep on a bed of metal.

Our family enjoyed the waterpark. If the hotel is fully booked you can use the waterpark as much as you want before 6. After 6 you have to book a hour time slot. If it isn’t busy you can go back to the front desk and ask for another time slot. Either way the waterpark was lots of fun and made the stay worth it!
Front desk staff did not explain where our room was or any of the amenities so we had to spend time figuring out that ourselves. Front desk staff were unfriendly the whole time but the rest of the staff was polite. Also if you park in the parking garage there is no way to get the luggage cart there and you have to carry everything up the stairs. Best to unload the vehicle prior to parking in the underground.

We liked the waterslides and pool but the hot tub could have been cleaned more often since it was so busy
Didn’t like the booking of times to use the waterslides area and couldn’t bring plastic drinks into the pool area. Even though it was New Year’s Eve I fell off people were just allowed to swim then it would have lost its interest after a bit and naturally have slow time. When that’s specifically what you are going to stay for it was a negative impact only being able to use it for an hour

The pool was great my son loved it! Location is easy to get to. Rooms are very clean and we always had extra toilet paper which is amazing :) Love the fridge AND microwave in the room too.
It's very sad that your EV charging was removed. I was able to trickle charge at your plug in, thankfully. Please reconsider providing onsite EV charging for travelers as it will show that you are a forward thinking hotel and care about accommodating all types of vehicles. Word of mouth does spread and people will book based on EV charging availability.
