The breakfast was nice; staff was very attentive and helpful. Food tasted great! My room was comfortable and clean, and quiet. The view? meh. It's ok, though, I wasn't really interested in staring out the window for any length of time.

The attitude of the desk person who answered my call on my checkout day. I said I needed a half hour to get out ot the room (I was exhausted from 3 months of road travel and slept in by an hour). She said that was impossible I had to be out by 1:00 pm. Her sound was of scolding and anger, at least to my ears. I asked what time it was and she responded that it was 12:35. 5 minutes doesn't seem like too much time to me. I managed to get out quickly, so it wasn't an issue; however, I am not accustomed to being scolded as if I were a schoolgirl.

I stayed here recently and overall had a good experience. What I liked: • The hotel accommodated my room requests, which I appreciated. • Location is great close to plenty of fast food places and right off Barlow, but surprisingly quiet. I barely heard traffic during my stay. • My room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and even a jetted tub inside. • Breakfast had lots of options, and I loved that they use real cutlery instead of disposable plastic like so many hotels since Covid. It gave the meal a more “at home” feeling, which I think most travellers appreciate. Overall: The room and breakfast experience were great, but the lack of hospitality from staff and the condition of the pool and carpets left me wishing for more. With a little extra care, this hotel could easily shine.

What could be improved: • Staff weren’t very welcoming. I didn’t get the usual hospitality rundown (pool location, laundry, wifi, etc.), and instead was directed to a QR code for info. That’s not my style of hospitality. • The pool area needs more attention. In the evening, the hot tub was very crowded and the water was yellow — quite shocking. I understand staff can’t control the number of kids or guests using it, but a mid-day cleaning or at least checking on it would help. • Carpets throughout the property are stained and feel old, which takes away from the otherwise comfortable atmosphere.

Nice newer property, room was great, included breakfast was good but standard hotel fare. Bonus for me: right on the YYC south flightpath, so I got to plane watch the whole time! They have a secured area out back where I sat to read and watch planes. Pool was large and had a hot tub.

Well, for some people, being on the flightpath of a major airport can be a BAD thing (not me though! I loved it!). However, the rooms were very quiet, and you had to kind of be tuned in to the sound of the jets to hear them. Definitely not too loud that it would keep you awake or anything.

We stayed overnight for my son's surgery. We got a 1 bdrm suite for a excellent price. The rooms were very clean and the atmosphere was more like a home . The staff were fantastic and understanding when my son started vomiting after surgery . The pool is a bit outdated .However it was very clean and warm . Also the pool is open until midnight. Breakfast was a full hot breakfast with fresh waffles,eggs,bacon,sausage,cereal, toast,muffins...ect I definitely will recommend

The only thing I found odd was the location. I found it felt like a industrial maze with alot of dead ends .

The room we were in was very large. Staff were all very friendly, and the pool and hot tub were well maintained. Pull out bed was clean and comfy.

Tables in the dining area for the continental breakfast were not being cleaned routinely. My wife ended up wiping a section of table so we could eat without getting our arms sticky with syrup. Carpets were pretty stained in the room we were in. Also, the TV in the living room got horrible reception. Couldn't watch anything if we wanted too.

The rooms were very clean and quite roomy. There was an extra TV in by the sofa bed which was great for my kids to hang out in separate from us. A very roomy bathroom. The pool was suitable and the main reason we stayed there. No shuttle from the airport but it's an easy 15 minute drive. Breakfast was a typical hot meal hotel breakfast but was well done. And they had great options for coffee plus decaf which is hard to find. Next to a great Lebanese restaurant as well. We would stay there again.

Everything was good very modern rooms and lovely decor as you enter and the hallways are lovely and color coordinated. Beds are huge and very comfortable with lots of pillows. Lots of counter space in bathroom which is important and good lighting. We liked that there was plenty of parking space in front of hotel for our rental car. Very reasonable price for Calgary too. Especially since they have a fridge and microwave in the room and there’s a pool and hot tub even though we had no time for it. Also a free breakfast that we also missed.

Didn’t like that phone charging plug ins aren’t next to the bed on either side. New places have them right on the lamps nowadays so you don’t have to get out of bed to charge your phone and use it or check alarms. We missed out on the free breakfast because they didn’t start it at 6 am like they do on weekdays, and we had an early flight . Didn’t like the sink tap spout was too close to back of sink.

The Calgary Country Inn and Suites is a great deal. It is a bit of a drive to Banff National Park from the hotel, but compared to the hundreds of dollars that you pay to stay in Banff, Canmore, or any of the closer towns, you are really not too far from the park and save a lot of money. Staff is great, and the rooms are quite nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!

This is minor, but it was be nice if there was maybe a little more selection of hot foods at the continental breakfast. The one day there were only eggs and potatoes. It would have been nice to have a meat option as well.

I liked the options for guest laundry as well as a fitness room with indoor pool though I did not use those facilities. The free continental breakfast was well organized with a good variety and very clean with efficient help when needed.

There were few food options for lunch and dinner other than the Burger King behind the building. There is a Cactus Club across the street but it is at least 4 lanes to cross (as well as an 80 km/hr speed limit) though the crosswalk is not too far away. The Booking.com site indicated the hotel was close to the airport (used filter for that). This hotel did not have a shuttle. The taxi ride took about 20 minutes (average of 2 rides) and cost me $86.00 total. My taxi passed several hotels (much closer to the airport) and they all had a free shuttle. Mind you, i should have looked closer at my booking with respect to a free shuttle and meal options.

Breakfast was good, beds were very comfortable and it was very quiet. It was is a good location but was a distance from the city center but was not an issue getting around by car. Good value for the money. No nasty smells or perfumy smells. Being a non smoking hotel was a huge plus. Pool area was nice an large and indoors for those very cold winters.

Carpets were a bit stained but other than that it was very clean. No real outside space to lounge. There were a few tables and chairs in the front of the hotel but would be nice to have a little more private outside space, not sure space would allow for it though.
