Overall a solid hotel in Japser. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. They even have a microwave in the room. Some rooms are facing the parking lot so if you’re on the first floor, you may not be able to open your windows during the day due to cars parked right in front of your room.

They need to try to have more people staff the front desk. I had to wait over 15 minutes in line to ask a simple question because the person in front of me was taking forever. Not really the staff’s fault but it would’ve been nice if they had called for back up.

Amazing view! Super easy check in - pet friendly. Free parking Everybody was super nice. The town is beautiful. The room was clean comfortable in the bed was nice. The TV was modern and connected to the phone to cast and stream from prime and Netflix. Could pay with my debit card, which was great after travelling across Canada and having several problems with fraud on my credit card. The restaurant was the best food we had the entire trip from Nova Scotia so far fresh gourmet food

Good location (in centre of town), the room is spacious and well appointed, and very clean.

Parking arrangement needs improvement. Guests do not get carpark space ensured, nor the hotel has a policy to ensure its carpark is reserved for hotel guests only. Consequently outsiders could take up all the spaces, leaving late-arriving hotel guests having no space and needing to park on the street (at the mercy of availability and charges). The room price was too high, but I suppose we had no choice due to the tourist season.

Centrally located Comfortable for a mid (at best) quality hotel. On checkin the front desk staff were amazing and even called our room immediately after to ask if the room was OK.

This is a nice enough hotel but there is nothing high end about it. Small rooms but that’s ok. The price was way too high for what the customer gets. Over 300 per night is very expensive for a mid level hotel. Had food at the restaurant for breakfast and supper. Very expensive for a low quality meal. Would never eat there again. I realize prices are driven by demand but it’s too bad there is so much price gouging. Person at the desk for our early morning check out was rude and grumpy at best.

The location of the Crimson is an easy walk to all the restaurants and shops in city center but not right in the middle which makes it a bit more accessible. The rooms are a bit dated but clean and comfortable. Our room was on the ground floor so had a back door leading to the parking lot which made it easy to unload/load the car. We had dinner at the restaurant there and enjoyed good wine and beer along with our meals.

Parking is a bit tight, but one of the few places we stayed with free parking. The hotel is located across from a railroad yard. When you check in to the room, you will find packages of ear plugs and a note alerting guests to the potential train activity. I used the ear plugs and think I heard two trains but it did not disturb me at all. My husband did not use the ear plugs and was not disturbed either.

The staff was exceptional, I've never received such great care. I wish I remembered the name of the front desk clerk who was working at 5 pm on Saturday, May 4th. They were so friendly and just made my stay feel so comfortable. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The pool was really nice, and the lighting was perfect. The view was beautiful, it is right by the train track but they provide earplugs if you need them! The room had a balcony which was very nice to sit and drink a coffee or tea and watch the sunrise/sunset. I just have to reiterate how terrific the staff was, just hospitality I'd never received at any hotel I've ever visited.

I guess my only complaint was no parking but I can't fault them for that, really. Jasper is very busy and they have limited parking.

the staff was terrific. The onsite restaurant we ate at for breakfast was great. The location--although right across from the Canadian Pacific railway--was quiet. They provided ear plugs but we never needed. The Crimson is new-ish looking.

A little pricier than I expected but for what we were doing -- basically a single overnight visit to Jasper from Banff 3.5 hours away (we stayed in Canmore near Banff), it was perfect.

The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and so personable. We brought our dachshund and they made up a little doggie goody bag for him which he loved. They were able to help and answer any questions we had. We were driving up to Edmonton and wanting a quiet stop to relax and explore. Jasper overall is a very dog friendly town, and based on this experience at The Crimson, I don’t think I would even consider a different hotel!

The location is great to walk everywhere. The queen suite was very spacious as well. The beds were comfortable and I wanted to take the duvets home. We knew there was gonna be noise from the train. It didn't bother us at all. A low rumble to put you to sleep. They supply ear plugs if you need them.

The parking lot is very tight. At least there was ample street parking. Not sure how much there will be during peak season. The heater/ac is very loud. Would have loved a little freezer compartment in our mini fridge to keep ice packs frozen.

Great hotel in Jasper. Kitchenette was a nice bonus. Well located on Connaught Drive and a short walk down to several restaurants. Staff were friendly, and it was nice of them to include complimentary earplugs given the proximity to Jasper Station. Also enjoyed the onsite parking, as well as the lovely views of Jasper National Park from our suite - still beautiful in its recovery.
