The room was contemporary, very clean and comfortable. The rate was very good for the value I received, which included breakfast too!

The front desk staff didn't have the preferred rate on file that I got when I reserved online using Booking.com. He asked me to contact Booking.com myself to straighten it out even when I had the reservation information, including the lower rate, in an email from Booking.com (and showed it to him). It would have been better if he and Booking.com had straightened it out without me having to make the call, wait in the queue and work it out myself... afterwhich the rep at Booking.com contacted the hotel staff to authorize the lower rate.

The room rate for Sat night June 7 was almost double 178.72 what I paid on Thursday night June 5 at 97.07. I thought my reservation was for 2 nights at that price, when I booked on Bookings, but somehow it was only for 1..... so I had to book again for the second night Sunday June 8, where the price was reasonable again. I could not cancel and rebook, as it was within the 24 hour period, I was quoted a price at the desk for the next night, and it was better but still high, so , but went back on Bookings to get an even better price for that Sunday night which was cheaper than even my Thursday stay. 84.37 total

The room and everything else was fine, other than the continental breakfast seemed to be closed everytime i went to go get something... by 9:00 am, Sorry too early for me, after a long day.

the room was fine. Kuerig in room. could order room service with no extra fee. the meal delivered was excellent and reasonably priced.

bathroom door pretty much touched toilet when open. BR door needs painting Breakfast was not great. only white bread for toast, toaster not working right, all of the margarine packets were open…. not very sanitary.. does public health know this is what you do? ketchup bottle needed cleaning, also nearly empty at beginning of breakfast, hash browns/ potatoes were so hard you couldn’t bite them… perhaps leftover from the day before? There was one person handling breakfast as well as check outs….handwashing???? no elevator

Large parking area and well lit. Large lobby and seating areas. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Front desk staff was courteous. Restaurants, stores, and coffee shops were walking distance.

We made reservations through Booking.com, and the system at the hotel did not show it to have been prepaid. We were asked to wait 5 minutes (3 times!) to see if it would show. Staffed made phone calls to their contacts but still wanted to charge again for the room and security deposit. It was ultimately corrected, but when you are tired from a long trip and want to finally rest, a half-an-hour wait feels like a three hours wait. The bedroom was warm, and the ac unit barely kept up. The breakfast was not fresh. The individually wrapped bagels were hard. I mean, hatd as a rock. I even thought maybe they were for decorations!

Love the location, less than a minute off the highway, easy to find, this gem is easily our favourite in this price range. It's super comfortable, clean, and the India Kitchen restaurant on site serves some the very best food we have had.

Oddly enough, the bathroom sink in our room was plumbed in reverse! The cold water came out on the hot side and vice versa. Not that hard for us to adapt to but it's a potential hazard for sure. Also, my usual gripe, the shower control has no throttle: it's full blast or off, those are your only options. At a time when hotels around the world ask guests to save water, here's a simple solution, use a proper valve that allows you to control the flow. It's not like this technology hasn't been around for decades!

The price was good as were the facilities. The breakfast area was clean and there were plenty of choices. We were attending our grandson’s first hockey tournament but weren’t willing to pay the prices at the MH Lodge where the team was staying as we are seniors. In between games I was able to visit stores across the street. Our daughter visited us at the hotel and remarked how much nicer it was than the Lodge at a way better price. It was easy to get to the games in Redcliff.

Nothing really. Maybe extend the hours at the breakfast bar to 10 am as some people rise a little later if on vacation. This was our first visit to Medicine Hat and I would recommend this hotel. Time did not permit to use the restaurant which we would have liked to try.

The inside was very nice. Very open foyer where the breakfast knook was on the 2nd floor, overlooking the first floor. Indian restaurant (which was delicious) nd signs said liquor store and VLT machines in the same building. Hands down the best shower pressure/temperature I've ever had in a hotel. After a long drive, it was so relaxing.

A/c system in the room wasn't the greatest. The outside is a little unassuming. Yes there's a big sign in the parking lot, but the words "lobby" were hidden under the arches

The value for the price was unbeatable. Clean, location, friendly staff, renovated rooms, comfortable, gym, breakfast was good and included, property had an Indian restaurant and salon in the lobby….. they also mentioned they had a hot tub which I didn’t go to and they said they also had pool access to the hotel next door if I chose to go.

Had to carry luggage up 2 flights of stairs because they didn’t have an elevator

Location was good. Room was well equipped. Staff were polite and friendly

The machine supplying orange, apple juice etc for breakfast was broken for the 2 days we were there and could have been replaced with simple cartons or jugs of juice from the local shop. I don't drink tea or coffee so was offered iced water the first day, the second day the jug of water had been sat out so no ice just warm water. I did raise this with the staff and they did apologies but didn't rectify.

It was the best value for money. We are four adults and one 6 year old kid in our group and booked 2 hotel rooms. A guy on the front desk upgraded our room with 2 beds.(we booked one bedroom with one bed) We stayed other hotel rooms after this as we are on a road trip across Canada and my parents missed this hotel. You will be happy with your stay for sure.
