The mattresses were fantastic. The service staff were very kind and friendly. That was perfect.

We arrived may 9 at 1pm. The lady at the reception needs to be trained. She was not friendly at all. We didn't feel welcome. No words like "welcome to the hotel or how was your journey". Only you are to early . Check in is at 4pm. We don't have ready rooms. Which I didn't believe her. There are better words to say it kindly! The young man at the check out was perfect. " Did you have a pleasant stay? I wish you a safe journey. Just perfect on may 11th.

The room was comfortable and clean. Hotel location is perfect. Having a pub and restaurant on-site is also a big plus. Cocktails and restaurant food quality was excellent.

It was end of summer season, but hotel was suffering from a staff shortage. Those there were doing their best, but having an inexperienced reception person struggling to answer questions or process check-in/check-outs doesn't give a positive impression. It also impacted service at the restaurant.

Location and facilities are good. Restaurant is decent, but prices are high. Need more help.

Front desk clerks could use an upgrade. Perhaps more friendly, speak louder and more clearly, say hello and goodbye offer to answer any questions, stand up while talking to you. Perhaps some hospitality management training would be helpful.

Food was excellent. I had one breakfast, and enjoyed an omellette. I had three dinners, and enjoyed a burger, a steak and a beef dip. I eat twice in the dining room and twice in the pub.

Service was slow in the dining room and the pub due to a seasonal staff shortage, but the situation was beyond their control as most of Waterton townsite was closing down for the winter.

This was a two night stopover between being in Glacier Park and heading up to Banff National Park and it was a lovely stay. The hotel was easy to find, check in smooth, the room comfortable and well equipped and the staff were lovely. We had a great couple of days in Waterton which is a really lovely, relaxing place with some beautiful places nearby to explore.

Clean, comfortable, and well-located hotel. We stayed there for two nights. We really enjoyed the on-site restaurant with the friendly staff. Thanks to this hotel being open in winter (there are very few of them, 2 only?), we were able to enjoy exploring the surrounding area during this time of year.

The young woman at the reception wasn't very friendly and even sighed after one of our requests at check-in.

Great coffee selection, thanks for Coffee Mate rather than powdered whitener. Quiet. Nice patio and chairs. Unbelievable TV with a lot of selections, almost need a training course. Jordan at the front desk was very friendly and personable.

No microwave, seemed odd. Could use better lighting options. Maybe more seating. A lot of unused space. Food was mediocre. Shower leaks all over bathroom floor.

We went in the off-season, in December, and paid about 1/4 the summer rate, which was great. Not much to do at Waterton then, however., and clouds spoiled the views of the mountains. We had steak at the restaurant and it was superb, and the brussel sprouts were to die for. Wait staff was excellent, however, the front desk asked us to make a reservation even though there were only three couples dining there that night, including us. Part of the charm, I guess. When we ate breakfast, there were deer grazing just outside the restaurant window, along the shoreline. The room was excellent and comfortable, and the bathroom was huge, as was the shower. It was awesome to stay at an essentially brand new hotel at a national park. You don't encounter that every day.

The weather didn't cooperate. There was nothing the hotel could do about that. We could never afford the normal summer rate, which is unfortunate.

Everything was great. Really nice rooms, Nice finish, great view. The buffet style breakfast they had while we were there was the best breakfast I have ever had. It was all delicious. The chief and the team were fantastic, same with the servers as well!.

The only this was thinner walls but that is not unique to their property and I never really had any issue with it.

The location of the hotel was THE BEST! It was totally rebuilt after the 2017 fire so all materials within the hotel/room and the exterior of the hotel are in excellent shape. Our upstairs, KING room was decorated in the MISSION style - the large bathroom shower has large 24x48 porcelain marble-look tiles enclosed with a large, clear, glass door. The king bed was VERY comfortable. We also loved the touch of having a very comfortable mission chair we could turn toward our long window to just sit and view the lake and Prince of Wales Hotel in the distance. Our whole room/including the bathroom was incredibly clean. Our meal in the Kilmorey restaurant was sublime. I had the French Onion Soup which was amazing along with a delicious small caesar salad. On warm days you can eat outdoors at their restaurant and take in the views that are as beautiful as anywhere in the world. We were within walking distance of the whole town. Please note the Kilmorey is OPEN ALL YEAR long, so you can experience it at any time of year. The staff in both the hotel and restaurant were very friendly and accomodating.
